Your group keeps going and heads further south. Eventually you come to a small clearing, in the center of it you see a large bird, mostly red, but with some silver feathers. It looks to be asleep over a nest. Kieta begins to take notes on the appearance of the bird, as she hasn't seen anything similar to it before. Just past it you see a group of wolves heading toward the bird.

Setsuna, unsure why the fire could be doing so much damage to him while it retains his own element, utilizes again his Channel: Drake, this time changing his element to the opposite of Fire, Water.

He then moves as fast he can to strike the wolves while they are inflamed.

Elements do not work like that. Elements only reduce/increase damage from attacks of a certain element, being on fire is more like a status effect... a very easy to remove status effect, if you're that worried just put it out.

You change your element to water with Channel

rake. You attack a wolf for 51 damage. You gain 5HP, you take 14 damage from fire.
Racas attacks and defeats wolf.
Wolf attacks barrier for 30 damage.Takes 12 damage from flames.
Wolf attacks barrier for 30 damage. Takes 12 damage from flames.
Nilath casts H. Solar Burst. Barrier takes 50 damage, Wolves take 50 damage. All targets set on fire. (Except it and eggs)
Kieta puts out flames.

Kieta: I think we should go, the Nilath is just angry and protecting its young, as long as we stay it will stay hostile. The wolves may still be a problem, but I don't think they will last long against it. What do you think we should do?

Borelan Woman- The Forest Shrine is a small temple dedicated to the god of the forest. Its spirit is rumoured to rest within it.

Labohan Boy- I think its supposed to hold the spirit of a monster or something. But I'm not too sure about it to be honest...

Labohan Elder - Ah... that shrine has been in the forest for ages. It watches over the inhabitants of the forest and protects us from harm...

Borelan Woman- The Forest Shrine is a small temple dedicated to the god of the forest. Its spirit is rumoured to rest within it. Labohan Boy- I think its supposed to hold the spirit of a monster or something. But I'm not too sure about it to be honest... Labohan Elder - Ah... that shrine has been in the forest for ages.
