Zelda RPG

Alrighty...it's time to start a Zelda RPG. This is actually my first time DMing, so it may take a while for me to get in the swing of things, but I'll do my best:

Okay. First thing's first. If you wish to join, you must have some knowledge of Zelda games. Now, you have to first pick a name, sex, and then a race from the following lists. (You can be any race, regardless of your sex, ie: you can be a male gerudo or a female goron):

Kokiri: The Kokiri are a very peaceful race who were once tended by the Deku Tree. They each have their own fairy as a companion and watcher, but until one special day Link didn't have one, because he was really a Hyrulian. Kokiri do not grow and they cannot lave Kokiri Forest because without the Deku Tree's protection they will die. They brought Link up, until one day Ganondorf cursed the Deku Tree. That is when Link met Navi.

Goron: The Gorons are a kind people, led by their king Daurnia. Daurina and Link are sworn brothers, and they have been on quests together to save Hyrule. They like to eat rocks and can live in very heated conditions. It has also been seen that they can grow to extraordinary sizes.

Zora: The Zora can literally sail through water, but they have to be in warm conditions. After Link saved the Zora King's daughter, Ruto, she planned to get married to him. They need water to live, so when Ganondorf froze their home in Hyrule, many of them died out. They need warm water and plenty of fish to survive.

Gerudo: The Gerudos are a private race, who survive by stealing off others. They usually live in fortresses so no body can break in. In Talmina, they have guards patrolling the waves, and in Hyrule there are foot guards in every corner. Every Gerudo is a woman, except for every 100 years, a new king of the Gerudos is born, the most recent being Ganondorf.

Sheikah: This race have all but died out, leaving Impa as the only surviving Sheikiah in Hyrule. They had great mystic powers and were a peaceful race. They served the Hyrulian Monarchy with great dedication.

Hylian: Hylians are very human-like, with the exception that their ears are very pointed at the end. This gives them powerful hearing abilities, and also psychic powers. The Royal Family Of Hyrule are all Hylians, which is why the race is known so well across the world. Link himself is a Hylian, despite being brought up by the Kokiri.

After 5 people have joined, we will continue with our character generation and then our game. After 5 have joined, no other characters will be accepted.

Hmm... sorry, but you cannot play as drizzt here. He is not related to zelda in anyway. We can't have a forgotten realms character running around when we are trying to maintain a zelda theme. Sorry, but you'll have to change. You can be a gerudo, but no specific characters. Weapons, items, etc will be worked out after we get 5 people.
