Here's a fun idea I wanted to share with you guys.

PLOT

You have all checked into the misleadingly beautiful Pike Creek Hotel, an upscale, somewhat old-fashioned hotel in the snowy Rocky Mountains of Colorado, miles away from civilization. (The Shining was a source of inspiration for me) In this hotel, the line between fantasy and reality is blurred and what results is the most terrifying night of your life. Armed with only a pistol and 17 bullets, you must stay alive, put the evil that lays within the hotel to rest, and most importantly, stay alive.

BIO

Here's how you should sign up. If your character should die, which is possible, just sign back up again with a different character.

Name: Any name you want, although you might want to take into consideration that this is Earth, A.D. 2003
Age: As long as you're old enough to check in.
Sex: Male, Female, Transgender
Physical Description: How your character looks. Be as detailed as possible.
Bio: A little bit about the character's life, his/her career, past experiences, etc.
Floor: The floor you checked into. Choose from Floors 2-10. There is a penthouse, too, but all penthouse rooms have been checked out. There is also the lobby and basement of the hotel. If anyone knows how to put a map on the internet and can tell me how, I'd be glad to do a map, but in the meantime I'll use a series of floor plans I drew.

You all start with 100 Health and plenty of chances to replenish it.

to put a map on the net, draw it on paint or something else, save it and then get a free site (or pay for one if you want) and upload it to that site. Then you can post it here with [img]url of image[/img]

I think I'll write up my character right now!

Name: Introbulus (It's a Futuristic name, eh?)
Nationality: Canadian(Probably didn't think of this, eh?)
Age: 23
Sex: Okay. Er, I mean...Male?
Physical Description: Tall (about 6' 3"), slim, wearing blue jeans and a blue T-Shirt, sunglasses, black sneakers w/ white socks, cheap watch on right wrist, black hair, blended eyes (a mix of Blue, Green, and brown, sorta hazel-like), sideburns.
Bio: Introbulus is actually half-Canadian, half-American (OOC: Otherwise known as New York [img]tongue.gif[/img] ), but he was born in Canada. He's on vacation in Colorado on his way to visit the West Coast, specifically to visit the NOA building (Nintendo fan

), and to see his brother, who is a Political Science teacher in California. His car is a white sadan, and he came prepaired to have a good time. The only reason he has a gun is because he got one before checking in because of the stories he heard about the place in a nearby town.
Floor: Floor 2

I assumed that we were supposed to make a more mundane character instead of a superpowered one, eh?

OOC: If you couldn't tell, a large portion of this person is based off of myself and my actual life, although I'm not 23

If it seems like cheating, then you can get rid of the watch and sunglasses.

Physical Description: Tall and pretty muscular. He's got blonde hair that's spiked up and blue eyes, and always wears reflective sunglasses. He's also got a leather jacket he rather likes.
Bio: Although not many people know it, Bobbo is a criminal. He's already masterminded several schemes to break into banks, and succeeded, and is therefore incredibly rich. He drives a Harley, and was cruising around when he spotted this place. Since it was already night, he decided to check in. His gun was there because he had just been losing some cops. Naturally, he succeeded, but he had had to use some of the bullets and therefore only had 17 left.
Floor: Floor 7

It'll take me a while before I can print out maps, but I can still try and get it started. Floors 2-10 are basically the same thing, just rooms arranged in a certain order. The lobby contains a mall, game room, gym, and indoor pool, and what's in the basement and penthouse are for you to discover later on. Anyway, here are the stats of the characters so far.

He currently has a job as an Aero-space engineer, working at JPL (Jet Propulsion Lab). He is currently here on a buisness trip.

Bio: Carl works as a computer repairman in Gateway. He gets good pay and has decided to take rest from his career in the Pike Creek Hotel. Things seem odd when he checks in, and when he reports to his room, he finds a gun on the table as well as ammo.

Bio: Being born into a rich family, he never needed to work, although he is very skilled with computers. After his parents were killed by someone, he inheritted the money they had. Being rich, and parents that were killed, he keeps a gun on himself at all times for protection.
