Sample Controlled RPG

(Taken from a lot of RPGs by a lot of people)

This type of RPG is controlled by you, the creator of the topic, other players control only their character while you control the world around them, and is usually more structured with stats and well thought out skills. This type of RPG tends to be the dominant kind around here, as it is more structured and such.

This is a sample controlled RPG. If you create one yourself, you simply give a sign-up sheet, tell people the basic plot of the story as well as the starting point, and then they join. After they join, you must "introduce" them into the "world".

Ex: (Posted by the creator of the game) You start off in a small town called "Town". You can go check out the bar or leave the town.

(Posted by a character in the game) I'll go check out the bar.

(Posted by the creator of the game) You walk in the bar and you see 1 person. You can talk to him if you wish. What would you like to do?

You control the world around the characters, and the people who play control their characters. That is the ground rule. (hence the name, "controlled")

SAMPLE PLOT

A long time ago, there was an evil man. He took away some orbs that held the planet Earth stay in 1 piece. Now, random devestation is happening all over the world. Mystically, many people with hidden talents are summoned to fight this man, and get back the orbs which make the world go round. You start in a small town called "Town".

(Split the following stats between 700)
HP: Your hit points, when you run outta these, you die/lose

Attack: How much damage you do
Defense: How much damage you can take
Magic Attack: How much magic damage you do
Magic Defense: How much magic damage you can take
Speed: Determines who attacks first

SAMPLE SIGN-UP

Name: Guy
Sex: Male
Age: 25
Weapon: Sword
Weapon Enchantment: Fire
Occupation: Warrior
Appearance: Guy is a typical guy weilding a sword
Personality: Friendly, nice, likes saving the world
Additional Info (optional): Guy is your typical RP character who may not look like it, but will save the world

MP: 100
Attack: 100
Defense: 100
Magic Attack: 100
Magic Defense: 100
Speed: 100

After people sign-up, they have to wait before they begin posting. You give them a set-up and then they respond.
