| Guest | I hope no one cared too much about DM This battleclub is based off Against the odds, which took place in a world run by magic. Every living being on the planet could use magic. Survival in this depends on how well you can use it, and how much of your full potential you can access. People are born with different magical abilities. There's a story mode which is virtually the same as ATO To join Name: Age: Gender: Bio: post some background, and what your character looks like, etc. This is required if u ever plan on doing a story mode Magic type: Pick from the list below Weapon Proficiencies: pick up to 3 weapon proficiencies. Choose your main weapon. Proficiencies: Choose up to 3 things your good at. Cannot be combat related physical attributes: Pick up to three things that your character is good at physically. Ex: fast, or strong. Symbol: choose something that represents your character. The symbol is a device that allows your character to tap into his full magical potential. The average human can only tap into 5% of his total magical power, but with the symbol (and better symbols) you can achieve a lot more. Symbols have two parts to them. What they look like (something like a lightning bolt, or whatever u want) and what they're on (necklacke, rod, wand, braclet, whatever) Stats- Dive 250 between Spirit Energy: your life force. If you run out of spirit energy, you die, simple as that. Basically hp Magic Energy: basically magic points. however, its slightly different. spells have no preset cost. you put as much energy into as you want. the more you put into, the more effective, and powerful the spell will be. of course less energy requires if you have the power to do it. Magic Power: this is your overall abilities. Higher power reduces the cost needed to cast spells effectively. It also makes them more effective to begin with. Potential: your potential is your ability to learn magic. Your power grow, as well as your magical energy. Types of magic Oracle: one born with the second sight, able to see other places in the present, and into the future. Summoner: A mage born with the power to summon and conjure anything at their whim. A great deal of their power is used in controlling whatever they summoned, so weaker summoners should not try and summon difficult things. Summoners can summon animate and inanimate things. Nature mage- A nature is a mage of the wilds. they are in tune with nature, and can draw on its power. They are adept any kind of spells dealing with the natural world. Time mage- among the most powerful of mages, although their power is a little limited. They have to the power to control time, slowing it down, stopping it, and among the most powerful time mages, can travel through time. Necromancer- a mage with the power over death. Necromancers can raise the dead as the undead, cause death, decay and other sorts of things involving death. Wild Mage: These mages are the ones described above that use magic overwhelmingly strong when they're emotions become really power. Otherwise they're not very good mages. Power Mage: These are mages with a lot of natural ability. They have a lot of energy and power. They're generally not too much good at anything besides pure destructive power. Enchanter: a mage who can instill magic into anything. They generally have power over material things. They can do a lot with simple items. Mind Mage: These mages use the power of the mind to affect their victims, and allies. They also have the potential for divination, although some may not, and oracles are always better at it. They also have excellent mental defenses. Spirit Mage: a mage that controls pure magical energy, which is generally called spirit energy. Spirit energy is the life force of living beings. Tapping into this energy, a Spirit mage can take, give or sap spirit energy. They can raise the dead or kill a person instantly(only at high levels) Although very powerful, these mages have a limited range of power. Weak spirit mages can't do a lot. Sorcerer: this mage has the most variety of spells of any category. They can heal, use attack spells, use their power for virtually anything. Their abilities in the other categories are decent, but anything not mentioned by the other types is included in this. They have any power you can think of, within reason of course ---- For people who weren't in the original topic, here's an explaination on magic There are no defined skills. All of the people there were mean and just made Syris hate town more. When Syris was 15 he left town and went into the wild. Syris developed the ability to read minds and speak to them while in the wild. It was because of this ability that he survived, for he used it to get animals to help him out. His family died off due to a mysterious plague when he was 17, and ever since then he's been roamin around. He tends to get a chance to settle down, and then always refuses and gets out of town. Is tall, has black hair, and brown eyes. Alan is generally bored with life, and can't seem to find anything to do that interests him most of the time. Everyone's gonna have it. im just gonna do it how it was in the first. everyone choose a main weapon proficiency also, choose 3 regular proficiencies (things your good at. These will help in story) Also edit your stats Im only keeping Spirit Energy Magic Energy Magic Power Potential and you can split 250 between them instead of the others you have three physical attributes you can choose. Mookie has searched around the world for Evermore, but turned up nothing. Mookie is tall, muscular guy, though he's not very bulky. He has jet black hair, fierce black eyes, and a serpentine, seductive smile. A ladies' man by nature, he knows at least one woman in nearly every town in the world, and is quite a smooth operator. It is basically a blue snake wrapped around a red bull's head, shown in a way that the snake covers all facial features and all you see for the bull head is a red space and black horns.
