Kali entered the town of Knol, his rotting skin covered by his leather cloak. Knol was a small village, on the outskirts of one of the largest kingdoms. One of the poorest villages, and being far from the king and the bulk of his army and guards, it has a pretty high crime rate.
Hoping to find some word of his parents he wandered from town to town in search. Deciding to check an inn to stay a few days, he wandered towards a moderately nice looking one, not having much money, but also not wanting to enter too bad of one. However, before he entered, someone called to him from an alley nearby. Walking over, without thinking he entered the ally and asked "who's there?" He almost himself as soon as he entered the ally, wwhen he saw 3 people, one armed with a crossbow, another with a sword, and the one who called out had two knives on his belt.
"Give us your money and you won't get hurt. Try to say anything, and my friend will silence you. Come over here and give us all of your money."
Your choice to fight, run or give him your money. |
