You start off in your hideout. Your hideout is located in a city called Tado. This town is a trading city, of around 800 people. This town has a small guard force (of about 50 people)

How you start your conquest of the world is up to you. You want domination, so you have a few options. You could start politically, or go by force. Gaining connections in the underground, or bribing the leaders, or however you want to get into power is your choice. Those are just a couple suggestions.

I'll send thugs to search for unguarded places(nothing too big though) during the day and then they will go back to my hideout. I will then send 2 theives to one of those areas to rob them. THe theives will come back to my hideout or hide somewhere else if followed.

To let you know, the town is divided into 4 sections. Residential, buisness (basic shops, inns and taverns) market (foreign merchants, basically selling exotic stuff) and government (town guard's garrison, and the mayor's house). The sections split the town into 2x2 squares basically. In addition, the town has two gates, which are always guarded by 4 guards each.

You send your thugs out of the hideout, to scout the town. They decided among themselves to split up to the four sections of town, and meet back up later

Business section- The thug that walked over to the buisness section, wandered the streets decicated to shops. Seeing plenty of guards walking around the place, he decided that this would be a bad place to rob. He counted about 10 guards in this place. However, he did notice an old magic shop that seemed to be ignored in the guard's patrols. The store was in the back corner of town, and surrounded by trees. Deciding this would be the best place to report. He wandered around a bit and then headed back at the time they had decided on.
-----
Market- One of the four thugs headed over to the market place. Scanning around, he found tons of stalls, containing exotic items. Looking at the sign that seemed to be selling some sort of goo in a jar he read.

Akbar's all purpose goo.
This stuff can be used to clean your house, get rid of rust on metal, can be used as a medicine, it can also be used to hold things together.

$25 per vial
$100 per flask
$250 per jar

The thug laughed as he read this. He continued on, scanning for guards. Finding only 2 guards in the area at all, he decided this was not of great importance to the mayor for whatever reason, so was not as heavily guarded. He went back to meet with the others.
----
Residential- The thug headed to the residential area. Basically seeing lots of houses, and about 10 guards partrolling the streets. Not really much else, he headed back to where they were supposed to meet.
----
Government- The thug reaches the government section of town. Finding several guards milling about in front of the mayor's house, plus a couple in front of the guard's garrison. He decided that this wouldn't be a good place to rob, he headed back

the four thugs reported back to the base, about an hour before dusk. Reporting that the guards seemed most concentrated in the main street of the buisness section, the gates, the government area, and merely a few guards in the market place and residential area.

What next?

You send your thieves out (you control them right now)

btw, your hideout is in the residential section (northwest). The northeast section is the government, the market section is the south west and the buisness is the southeast section.

The thieves head out to the buisness section. Deciding to take to the market section and head to the buisness section from there, since its less guarded. Noticing a single guard, with his back turned, looking out at some stalls. They ducked into behind an empty stall.

Thief 1 (whispering): should we go now?
Thief 2 peeks over, seeing the other guard still with his back turned.
Thief 2: i don't know, he could turn around at any time

make your choice. Try and sneak past or watch the guard a little more

The guard sighs, and walks over to another part of the market section, in the direction of the buisness section, but still not facing your thieves

sneak towards them, wait?

The two thieves sneak slowly towards the buisness section. The lone guard turns around, and the thieves duck in an empty stall. The guard walks over to where you are. Stopping at your thieve's stall, he stands there. Your thieves sit there, barely breathing, as guard walks over, and faces away from your two thieves, but in full view if he decides to turn around.

what next?

You make it to the end of the residential section, and hide behind a stall when you see a few guards standing out in the streets, none seem to be near the town wall.

Thief 1: hmm it looks like we have a pretty clear path if we stick between the buildings and the wall.
Thief 2: Ya... but the guards might see us when we walk over there, and between each building.
Thief 1: good point.

what do you do?

you head back into the market a little bit, hiding behind a stall. The lone guard seems to not be in sight.

Thief 1: We could head across the street to the wall like we originally planned. It would be easier to get to.
Thief 2: hmm thats a good idea

what do you say?
