-STORY-

A young man wanders the world, his former life torn apart, and his family slaughtered in a large world war. He is a powerful wizard, yet he couldn't save them when they needed him most. Followed by his young apprentice. They wander a war torn world, ravaged again and again by the forces of both magic and technology, trying to stop it.

-YOUR CHARACTER-

Name: Tiran
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Birthplace: Ozella Village (a small village, of around 500 people)
Weapon: Staff of the Magi (SotM): A powerful staff that can absorb any spell cast at Tiran from somebody of an equal or lower level (If they are a higher level, your chance to absorb it is a -25% for every level they are higher than you) At anytime Tiran can use that stored SP to heal his SP. It can only hold SP equal to three times as much as Tiran's MAX SP. In addition to restoring his SP with the stored SP inside, he can use any of the following skills:
- Barrier: Raises a barrier around Tiran and allies. All damage against your team is halved. Your team is also healed 1/10 of their MAX HP, SP, and EP. Lasts for 5 rounds. Cost: 1/2 of your MAX stored SP from the staff
- Firestorm: Several fireballs that hit all enemies, dealing high damge. (Skill Attack x2 - Skill Defense) + Potential. Cost: 1000 stored SP from the staff
- Siphon: Drains the SP nessecary to use a spell. Can be used in conjunction with energy conservation. Cost: Drains 1/10 of your MAX HP
Can use in melee for (Physical Attack - Physical Defense) +50 (Staff is indestructable)

Type of Realm: This is a large world, with two LARGE continents, seperated by a vast ocean. One continent has little technology, but magic reigns supreme, the other is the opposite. The two continents are at war with each other. The technology continent is about modern day technology in weapons, with much more advanced technology for non war purposes. Most common folk in the magic world have access to a couple magic items or maybe a minor spell, but most of the magic power is represented by the wizards. There are 8 sorcerers who hold a barrier up, in order to protect against the powerful missiles, bio/chemical weapons and nukes the technology side has. Only one sorcerer is needed, the extras are in case any fall. The barrier only keeps the nukes and missiles out. Planes can pretty much leave, so there is still danger.

Personality: Tiran is sick of the war. He's not hesitant to fight if its for the cause of the end of the war. Outside of that, he's a generous guy and always ready to help.

Bio: Tiran was raised in Ozella village, where everyone was mostly friendly. At the age of 15, he left to study magic with a wizard close by. He was a quick study and became a full wizard in a mere 5 years. A couple years later, he married a girl he was friends with as a kid, they had two kids together. His family went to a neighboring village, while he stayed behind, intending to catch up. The village was bombed while they were there, and when he got there, he found the village destroyed, including his family except for a young girl who somehow survived. Although devestated by the loss, he couldn't stand the thought of the girl being all alone and took her in with him. A smaller part of the reason he did this, was he was curious on how she survived. He tested her and found she had a knack for magic, although she had little discipline.

- Magic Missile: Creates a ball of energy which locks on the target and never misses. (Skill Attack - Skill Defense) Cost: 50SP, can make multiple missiles for 50SP each

- Energy Conservation: Allows Tiran to cast spells for less, at the cost of less power, or add more SP to make the spells more powerful. The percentages of lower or higher SP cost are directly proportional.

- Healing: Heals 1/2 of your MAX HP. Cost: 1/6 of your MAX SP

- Orbs of Binding: Creates up to 5 orbs around one opponent. Nothing can escape until all 5 orbs are destroyed. Each orb has 500HP. Cost: 200SP for each orb

-OVERDRIVE-

Hadoken: An extremely large beam of energy, that deals about three times Tiran's max SP. It hits all enemies. In addition, there's a 40% chance they will be immediately killed by the blast. (MAX SP x3) + Potential

-EQUIPMENT-

- Clothes: Just so your not naked
- Weak Red Potion x5: Heals 1/10 of your MAX HP
- Weak Blue Potion x5: Heals 1/10 of your MAX SP
- Weak Green Potion x5: Heals 1/10 of your MAX EP

- Accuracy: 80% (Normal)
- Dodging: 0% (Normal)
- XP Growth: +1% (Above Normal)
- Luck: +0% (Normal)

Type of Realm: Same realm as Tiran

Personality: Despite her family being killed, she's always positive. She has a natural talent for magic, although her attention span is pretty short, since she's always curious about everything. She has a crush on Tiran, although she doesn't really show it.

Bio: She grew up in Trinity village. Her dad was a pretty successful merchant, and her mom also worked in a tavern. Her family was killed when she was 10, and she was taken in by Tiran as an apprentice, and as her guardian.

- Psychic Push: She mentally pushes all enemies away. 70% chance all enemies are sent flying back dealing (Skill Attack - Skill Defense) + Potential. 30% chance all enemies trip and take 10 damage. An added 20% chance that all enemies will be disarmed for 2 turns. Cost: 200SP

- Innocence: Using a little magic, she enhances her image so the enemy thinks of her as innocent and does not attack her. It has a 30% chance of ending each round after 3 rounds, but it could last until she attacks. Cost: 150SP

- Healing: Heals all allies for 1/8 of their MAX HP. Cost: 1/6 of your MAX SP

- Mind Games: Does one of three things:
1) Makes 1-5 illusionary copies of something that dissappear when attacked.
2) Makes something or someone invisible to everyone until they come in contact with it.
3) Alters someone's perception of something to confuse them.
Cost: 300SP

-OVERDRIVE-

Barrier: Raises a powerful barrier that protects April and anyone near her, if they're an ally. This barrier absorbs all damage, and can't be penetrated by any attack whatsoever. It lasts for 10 rounds. It also fully heals and revives all allies inside. Attacks be can be made outward to the enemies.

Tiran wakes up, gets out of his bed, and looks out the window. It's a clear sky and it looks like the storm from last night that drove them into this inn has settled. April is still fast asleep and he decides to let her sleep a bit longer. Tiran gets ready, eats and gets dressed. When he returns out of the dressing room, April is sitting down on her bed, looking a bit tired. The two don't say anything to each other for awhile.

April: *Yawn* Good morning. Are we heading off already?

Tiran: Yeah, we have to. If we leave early we can make good time to the next city. I have a friend there who moved from my old village to that city. He owns a small place called "Knook's Inn". His name is James Hammer.

April: Alright, I'll be ready soon.

Tiran: Take your time. I brought you some breakfast too, it's on your nightstand over there to the right. You can eat it after you get dressed.

April: Thanks, it looks really good.

April goes to the changing room and gets dressed and bathed. Tiran turns to the window and looks outside to see a family having a nice morning in the park. He is reminded of his family, his wife and children. He thinks deeper and deeper, he regrets not being able to help them, and remembers his vowe to stop the war. He tries to hold in his tears, but one manages to roll down his face. A little while later, April is dressed and ready to leave after she gobbles down her breakfast.

Knook's Inn is to the North. There is a path that leads to the city it's in. In the current city, only this inn, a park, and some houses are here.

As Tiran and April walked down the path, the long day rolled over into the night. They were pretty close to the town they were heading for, but just about 10 minutes before they could reach it, they were ambushed by a group of 4 thieves.

Thief 1: Alright, you know the process, empty everything you have on the floor in front of you.

April hid behind Tiran, trying not to reveal herself.

Thief 3: Come back out little girl, we aren't gonna hurt ya. Right boys?

Tiran: You better not.

Thief 2: Oooh, it's the big scary man defending his little girlfriend. Go to hell.

Thief 2 throws a knife, aiming right for Tiran's neck, but April uses concentrates and uses pyschic push and she gets lucky enough to just stop the knife.

Thief 4: These aren't normal people, get ready to attack!

Shortly after the thieves were killed, a group of 5 guards arrived

Guard 1: Wow, the infamous group of 4 thieves that have been hanging around here has been defeated...

Guard 3: ...by this guy and a little girl? Heh, this must be a joke.

Tiran held his hand up and made a magic missile. It growed to a large size, and was filling the sky with light. He then put his hand back down, and the magic faded away.

Guard 2: I see, they are gifted with magic. You can come with us, we will escort you to our town.

The group headed to the town, and Tiran and April looked around

You can go to a few places; Knook's Inn, Weapon Shop, Item Shop, Magic Shop, or a Bar.
