I liked Brave Fencer Musashi for its originality in the hero's personality. The #1 RPG I have ever played is Legend of Dragoon for the very deep emotion it expressed and for the absolutely wonderful storyline to go with it. They played the most dramatic music at the right time. They also played music to match the atmosphere of where you were at. It was a very long game like the Tales of Symphonia, which made me very happy. It had wonderful character devolopment for even the most temporary of characters. The graphics were great for that system. I got so into that game, I even cried at times during the game. Most people probaly know this but I was shocked when they killed lavtiz off. So overall a great game! 10/10. ![]() I had no RPG's that I hated. |

Sure we can gain levels and get stronger if we want to but not have to be forced to do it for 3 hours to beat a boss. Make it feel like we are getting stronger as we progress through the story. Don't make the game easy but don't make it impossible. Use more unique systems that give an impression of real time. For instance Super Mario RPG allowed you to block attacks or take less damage if you hit the button at the right moment and you could do multiple attacks if you hit the button at the right time. Allow the enemies to have the same abilities and to be able to block an attack or two and even stop you from doing anymore for you attack. Also allow players to do multiple things per turn for a certain limit. When doing like a physical attack, allow them to Punch left, right, uppercut, kick, etc for the multiple attack. The blocking would be like that too. Legend of Legia 1 and 2 and this system and you could preform unique combo's. It was fun to battle. Another thing would be to have all character usable and balanced in stead of only using three primely. I would want take care of them more unlike most games. This would make battles less boring and more of a challenge that relies on skill rather then just primarily levels, equipment, and luck. The good things I do like about some RPG's is a fun battle system, good atmosphere, good story, nothing boring. StealthKnight |

| Gunjinkeeper | The Good: Radiata Stories(Love that game so damn much), FF9, FFs 6 and 4, Star Ocean: Till The End of Time, Grandia III, Suikoden II, Chrono Trigger, Guardian's Crusade(It was one of my first RPGs. It sucks, but it makes me nostalgic.) and the Mario RPGs. There are many more, but I'm tired of typing them. The Bad: Grandia 2, Wild Arms 3. The Ugly: Quina, though he/she was one of my favorite characters from that game. |

Best game I have ever laid eyes on. It has a cool storyline, lots of sidequests, and I like how you can change who talks to you in Flanoir by how much each character likes you. I almost always choose Presea or Raine. I also liked Paper Mario very much. The Bad: Tales of Legendia. It just wishes it could be as good as Symphonia. The Ugly: Hmm... I haven't played too many different RPG's... I'm gonna have to say Mithos, from TOS. He looks like a girl o_0 |

If you think Tales of Symphonia had repetitive dungeons, never play Tales of Legendia. ToL has one puzzle per dungeon, no exaggeration. Other than that, it's a bunch of corridors that all look the *bleep*ing same. And ToS and Skies of Arcadia were some of the best RPGs of the last generation. GameCube had awful quantity, but it had good quality. | |
