I got it pretty much when it first came out, but in the time it took me to actually play the thing it dropped to $20. Oh well. It's a GBA RPG with random battles, except these random battles are actually shmup segments (the plot reason for this is one of the stupidest things I've ever read in a game). You still gain EXP and levels, but I'm not sure what they do; maybe increase the ship's firepower or something. So far it's not bad, but not particularly great either (a true shmup buff would probably find the random battles kind of boring). Just wondering what anyone else thought of it. ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there! |

If the RPG itsself had a good story and characters and the shmup battles were fairly hardcore I'd probably love it. Can't think of many others who would though, you'd gotta like both types of gameplay a lot. |

I just beat it. Overall it's not very good. The plot is insane. I said this in the List topic, but the Krill chick says they get their fleet by breeding their ships. I'm not making that up. Everything just gets more effed up as you go along. The shmup battles are boring and consist of little more than mindlessly button mashing everything on screen. I had to play the game beyond the Forgotten Planet on my DS because somebody didn't take a lesson from the first generation of GBA games. ![]() Where are these lemmings going?
