Square to do a "Final Fantasy Surprise."

It'll be done later this year in honor of 20 years of FF.

And frankly, after several calculations, it will have a 84.7% chance of sucking, and a 95.5% chance of dissapointing. -CSM

Surprise! We're doing remakes of all six of the first games to be released on the DS/Wii!

So far, they have *groan* another remake of FFI and II, this time for the *groan* PSP. When will Square realize that the NES version is the only one worth playing?

They can do better. -CSM

edit: People say that this isn't the surprise. But I'm not surprised that Square will try to get Sony to come back from the hole they dug. They don't seem to have it in them to get their asses back to Nintendo.

Honestly, has anything been surprising from Squeenix lately?

Revolution -> Wii => surprising
Final Fantasy XII -> Final Fantasy XIII => not surprising

Yeah, but FFXIII looks completely not worth it. The game will probably be designed to give seizures. -CSM

And here are: Worst ten ideas for the surprise

10. A crossover game without characters from FFI-VI and IX
9. Edward's own game
8. Another Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicle
7. They actually decide to make something KH related and claim that's Final Fantasy
6. Final Fantasy Football. Now with 10% more Sabin!
5. An FFVIII sequel or prequel
4. Another FFVII game
3. FIVE more FFVII games
2. FFX-3 starring Rikku who becomes a slutty singer
1. FFVII PS3 remake

There's already another Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicle game. Plus, people like the game for the originality and multiplayer.

There's already a FFVII remake.

FF8 did not suck, just its storyline and characters. The rest was original and fun. Not overall as good at FFVII, but that's beside the point.

Pretty much every Squeenix game is "good"; that is, if you play it, you will have fun. It's just that only a select few are epic quality, or are admired by people who want to relive a lost time.

ff7 remake - Google Search

It was just a "tech demo". But people think that Squeenix would make the whole damn thing anyways.

Unless, of course, he was talking about Advent Children, Last Order, Dirge of the Cerebus, or Core Crisis.

I'm referring to the fact that they're working on a full FF7 remake for the PS3...just for better graphics. Lamest reason ever.
