It's official now: FF13 isn't going to be PS3 exclusive.

The main game still is exclusive, as is Versus. The only confirmation beyond that is that they're making a mobile game.

One of them will be PS3 exclusive. The others will be on other consoles, and not just mobiles. -CSM

Yes, but the ones that we know thus far as being exclusive, including the main game, are still exclusive. As to what happens from there is anyone's guess. This could just mean that there's something else online that's going to be on 360 and PC as well like FFXI. It could mean something exclusive to 360, Wii, PC, DS, and/or PSP, or available on some combination. Of those, I'd say the least likely exclusive platforms are 360 and PC, though in the same interview he also said that HD was one of the key components (perhaps just of the main game), which would rule out just about everything else. Eventually, I wouldn't be surprised if FFXIII itself does end up being ported to 360, though. Then again, they may drag this out so long that the other console just ends up being PS4. Of course, I think probably the main thing is that, other than the three announcements already made, even Square Enix has no clue what they plan to do.

They said the project is not exclusive. No comments were made on specifics, including the status of the two main games, FFXIII and Versus. At this point it's all just a guessing game, so guess away.

It might suit me well if FF13 wasn't exclusive; another reason to forgo buying the ultra-expensive PS3.
