| Newbie Join Date: Jun 2002 Posts: 7 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts | ok, this is a list of all the SNES RPGs that i plan on somehow obtaining, so could you guys check over this list to make sure that i didn't miss anything? At some point or another, i've owned all these games, but like a moron, i sold them to funcoland many years ago. So here goes: Breath of Fire II Chrono Trigger FF II FF III Earthbound Illusion of Gaia Secret of Evermore Secret of Mana Super Mario RPG Zelda: A Link to the Past The only game on this list that I never owned was Earthbound. What are your opinions on this game? And has anyone else tried to get all these games too? BTW, I'm looking only for American games, i dont know how to mod my SNES, i dont know how to get japanese games, and i dont know japanese, so american only. Any tips as to how i could get these games without spending exorbitant prices at Funcoland? |

You can probably find it at Babbages. Chrono Trigger and FFII I think come in a package for the PSX, but I'm not really sure about it. Zelda:A link to the past you can probably buy or rent at blockbuster or buy at electronic boutique. |

| Guest | You can get a Snes game convertor, that allows the play of Jap games on a NTSC Snes. There are few you missed that are great Illusion of Time Breath of Fire I Its definiatley worth getting Chrono Trigger for any amount of money, because in my opinion its the best RPG ever made ![]() |

| Guest | Illusion of Gaia and Secret of Evermore are easily some of the best SNES RPGs (in my opinion, THE best) but in IOG I'm trying to defeat Solid Arm, and SOE I'm facing Carltron's Robot. I didn't know that thing had a gun! I saw my uncle beat it once and I don't remember it shooting him! *keeps ranting and raving until tied up in a strait jacket* |

| VGF's Resident Lennonist | Earthbound is awesome, though the battle system could have been better. |

| Guest | Earthbound had such a delightful feel to it, it's like the best cartoon adventure show you can find on tv. It had a lot of innoative ideas to it, it was such a fresh game and a very memorable one. Sure the graphics are sometimes hilariously awful, and the battle system is pretty dull, but I don't know, I actually had fun playing the game. It's not like Final Fantasy where it uses a gripping storyline and dramatic sequences that pull you into the game, even you had to save the world in Earthbound, you still had so much fun doing it. I can't explain it. Earthbound is just one of those very special games. |

If you like Illusion of Gaia you'll like those two. Unfortunately I play all my SNES games on an emulator, so I wouldn't know where to find any of those... sorry. All of 'em are awesome games, though. ^^;;; |
