| Guest | What are you talking about, the GBA is the last system where they have a chance to make a classic RPG? There are many good if not great RPG games coming out for GCN soon. Who knows, any of those can be counted as classics. Yes there will be RPGs as good as CT and the FF series. The games will come as soon as designers stop looking so much for graphics and start adding a bit more back into gameplay and plot. Now that I mention it the FF series has definately gone down-hill in latter years. FF9 wasn't bad and FF7 was pretty good, but I didn't think FF10 was that great and FF8 just plain sucked wind. The original FF games will always be the best. Old Skool forever! This is what you get for messin' with my cuckoos! You little... DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR! | Marshmallow Knight ☆ Supermod | Yes. I have a theory that when you're younger (and more naive), your first good game become your favourite game because its the first time you've experienced the greatness that is a good RPG. Basically it's more nostalgia than its absolute ranking amoungst its peers. Maybe a new generation of gamers will grow up wondering if anything will better their games... |

| Guest | ^ Actually I've only played FF1 and Chrono Trigger in the past couple of months. I beat 'em both of course but now they are 2 of my fav. games of all times. OoT was my first good game and I still think it's the best in the Zelda series and is still one of my all time favs. as well. This is what you get for messin' with my cuckoos! You little... If they make a new Chrono it will probably be for PS2. -Hobbes ![]() Sega Review Archives-Reviews accepted. PM or Email them to me. |

| VGF's Resident Lennonist | There will most likely be an RPG better than Chrono Trigger, but it might not come for a long time. |

That was the main problem. -Hobbes ![]() Sega Review Archives-Reviews accepted. PM or Email them to me. |

That's simply unforgiveable. It doesn't add challenge, because nothing's getting harder. Just more annoying. And thanks to the Djinn, Golden Sun is one of the easiest RPGs I've ever played. Anyway, the next one should be better. -Hobbes ![]() Sega Review Archives-Reviews accepted. PM or Email them to me. |
