wonderboy was fantastic. could not get enough of it. crono trigger should be crowned supreme master of console RPG's (i actually tracked down an english version of the cart) but on my Pc i love to play the baldurs gate series and neverwinter nights (even tho the 3'rd edition D&D rules are rediculously unbalanced)

Earthbound was a pretty good game. I would have loved if it didn't use that boring text-based system and didn't have that annoying background.

^In all honesty, putting both Final Fantasy 1 AND Final Fantasy 7 on the list shows some nice variety indeed.
