I think Larsa had a good voice but a very bad character design. They shouldn'tve made him a prettyboy. He had a very good role and they cast a prettyboy in it.

But Yuna's voice just wants to give me nightmares.

Knowing you, Jay, you probably played Breath of Fire II. Did you think the FFX story was a ripoff of BoFII like I did?

I wish there was a game like Chrono Trigger which could combine a great story that was executed flawlessly with great gameplay. -CSM

The pros of Final Fantasy X's battle system is that you could switch out characters you needed or not, Jay. The cons with the Sphere Grid is that you can practically eliminate any need for Yuna, Wakka, and Kimarhi. Although Wakka's overdrive goes really good with Trio of 9999.

Wakka is the most powerful character offensively. With his overdrive you can get a maximum of 119988 HP damage. By that point in the game basically Wakka and Rikku are the only two who contribute something valuable to the party gameplaywise. -CSM

And the Lisence Board completely elimiated the need of using more than 3 characters.

I'll take the Sphere Grid. (At least over the LB, which isn't saying much.)-jay

[Edit]

Oh, and I've never played any Breath of Fire game.-jay

^You missed out, then.

Also, there are times in FFXII you need to use all six characters. Like in the fight against Ultima and the fight against Chucliclaannn or whatever that thing in the sewer is called. -CSM

BoF2 and 3 were Awesome. One was Okay. I'm not going to comment on 4.

Completely not related to that scene. I've just got the Tidus Sun Signal
Spoiler Below
(the racing Chocobo game one.)
. Go me!

Back to the scene, that's normally the one where I go make a cup of tea, while wishing that they added a skip button. However you shouldn't judge this game just by that scene, nor the fact that Tidus could possibly be Kingeric or WvsW.

Against
1. Tidus
2. That scene
3. SG (unless Pal version, since we get a bonus SG, which let's start on any path. Eg Auron going through Tidus' line from the outset of the game. Yuna following Lu's line..etc.)

For
1. Auron (Storyline, Character style, Quotes, etc)
2. Rikku (Character style, Quotes)
3. Lulu (Character style, Battle Quotes)
4. Ult.Weapons design
5. Hardness to get the best out of the Ult. Weapons
Spoiler Below
[Lightning dodging, Choco Racing, Al Bhed Languag, etc]

6. Summons Design
7. Summons intro. (Ixion more so.)
8. Music. (I liked the music from this one much more than FFVIII.)

You forgot the following, Nom:

Against:
4. Yuna
5. Yuna's voice
6. Yuna's design
7. Yuna's wimpy attack power
8. Yuna's being not on fire the entire game
9. Music (easily one of the worst soundtracks because FFI, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, and IX all had better ones)
10. The voice acting (it was so choppy and not flowing well)
11. Story ripped off BoF II

For:
9. Wakka
10. SG system (kicked major ass)

FF9 Remains the only 3D Final Fantasy worth playing.

Auron kicks ass though

^^ FF8 wasn't all that bad.

I'd rather be stuck in a room for all eternity with FF8 than FFX.

Actually, you are quite wrong in that assertion - the very nature of opinion means it is subject to contention. Facts aren't subject to it - opinion is.

Anybody who thinks 9 is the only 3D FF worth playing is kidding themselves.

Unless, of course, that is their taste and opinion.

In fact, I'll quote you:

People talking in movie shows
People smoking in bed
People voting Republican
Give them a boot to the head!

Boot to the head! ah ah
Boot to the head! ah ah
Boot to the head! ah ah

(That, and people who think FFIX is the only 3D FF worth playing. FFXII is even better, and FFX and, FFVII, yes, FFVII, are both good games as well. FFVIII though is worthless). -CSM
