I think they stated that Sheena is around 19 or so. And yes, Myorzo isn't the brightest considering that she'd have to be at least 25 before the "10 year coma" makes a lick of sense.

There's also the possibility that they saw she was talented, but it still seems like they should have waited a bit. Also, a quarter of the village died? They brought that many to get Volt? Eh, sorry for the questions, it just seems funny to me.

Also, how old was Alicia when she died? Her ghost looked young.

edit: now that I think of it, George said that he essentially split Regal and Alicia apart. But, why? Could he have seen the age(?) and caste difference between the two and thought the people of Tethwhatever would look down on his master? Alicia looks pretty young, and is a commoner: Regal is older and a duke.

Who knows yet I believe that George says the reason somewhere in the story. It was the caste system or so I think. And my own question, to know how old Alicia is, how long has Presea had the Cruxious Crystal. Sorry if that is spelled wrong I only have disc 2 or my tos till next week or so. Otherwise I'd look it up.

The Sheena thing... never thought of it but in the flash back they used the same character design so she was the most stacked 9 year old I've ever seen.

I don't recall a flashback for Volt, though. And George's role seemingly ended, with Regal's tale at a close. I'm at "Tower of Salvation Act III: The Time to Kick Ass".

Something in the game made me laugh today, but I forgot what it was. Zelos abuse is fun. Going towards a "Zelos lied, Zelos survived" ending.

You either see it in the temple at first or on a side quest. I'm pretty sure anyways. Ah yeah Zelos and Kratos are the two most flippity characters in the game.

Sheena was the only summoner in the village (and it's Mizuho, not Myorzo), so I assume that as soon as she had mastered the art of summoning they decided to go ahead and let her try.

I assume that they would have let a nine-year-old do it if she had mastered the art and if nobody knew that volt is a jerk.

And it makes sense that they'd bring the whole village. Nobody had seen a summoning in years, why not take the whole village along to see? Besides a lot of the villagers were used to disarm the traps in the temple, they explained that already.

And there was no flashback to Sheena as a nine-year-old. They just explain it.

And about the Alicia/Regal thing:

I'm assuming that happened a long ish time ago, because in the flashback Regal looks younger. The age difference is still pretty extreme, though.

I do think it had to do with the caste system, though. Tethe'alla's pretty hard set on that.

When I get the first disc back I'm going to play through and check the scenes with Vahrley. He says around when the tests on Presea started and then we know that Alicia died after that by a couple years and we do know that it had to be a while since her father was decaying. I'm going on to think about 10 to 15 years. Presea had to be in the experiment longer than Alicias death by a while. Since Alicia is younger but her sprite looked older. I could be completely wrong though.

The tests on Presea started before the ones on Alicia did because when Alicia's experiment ended in failure, Vharley says it's odd because "it worked just fine on another member of the family".That means that Presea's experiments started first, so she may have been frozen in the timestream as a child for awhile, allowing Alicia to continue to grow and look older when she was off dating Regal. Then at least six years later (since presea looks about 12 and Alicia is old enough to have a serious relationship despite being younger, she'd have to be at least 17 or so) the Alicia crisis happened and stuff.

Something like that.

Woo for the lack of a life.

Graces aint' even out in Japan bro.

Also, TOS is rather cliche all around, but it's a one of the reasons I love it to death.

Yeah I know thats why I'm so inquisitive. It'll be released in both countries quite close together with as much hype as its getting.

Yes we all agree that its the lovable cliche. Unlike tos2. Still an ok game.

I love ToS despite and because of its cliches. I love it to death and anyone who has conversed with me regarding it can back me up on that. x{DD

ToS2 kind of ruined the characters. Like, I'm sorry, but Lloyd would never leave the others in the dark and abandon them even if he thought it was for their own good. Either he changed a HELL of a freaking lot in 2 years, or the game creators didn't stop to think about who they were taking and turning into some sort of wannabe Batman.

Yeah they did mess up the characters but as a stand alone I think it was good. Not great due to the fact you couldn't level up the original characters and if you took any of the exp bonus in the grade shop the game was on easy mode. Except in the Hidden Labyrinth.

He might have told his friends but not all of it. If he had to swear he wasn't to Martel and Yuan then he wouldn't ever break that vow. That's Lloyd's character. He can't simply break his word to someone. He may have been able to get away with more then he did but that was the developers fault.

Also when was Lloyd so humble? In one of the fight endings it goes,

Marta: "Lloyd that was amazing"
Emil(Ratatosk): "No it wasn't"
Lloyd: "Yes but Emil did way better"
Ect

This is definatly not exact and i'll come back with the whole thing but thats basically it. And it made me go, WTH?! Lloyd would be like "Yeah I know that was awesome!!!" But I guess since they made his character change so much.

Sim Kid thanks for the update

I just ignored how none of the characters acted or looked anything like the originals because it fit with the story. The characters were shallow and made no sense, and the story was shallow and made no sense. (especially when it came to any character creating a strategy. >_>)

Uh, that kinda sounds like Lloyd depending on how you interpret his character in the original.

Also, all Sheena had done with summoning pre-Volt was befriend the man-made Corrine. I guess that counts in addition to being good practice.

I guess if you look at it from an angle with your eyes squinted just right. In all seriousness then yes it could be a sign of his maturity. I mean it has been 2-3 years after the first game so he's 19ish now.

Yeah I guess Corrine could be considered practice and then she made with Volt but it wasn't practice that let her make the pact it was their inability to understand Volt. That is why he went berserk. They couldn't hear his warning and he thought they were ignoring him.

I think ToS2 would have been okay as a stand-alone, and I just pretend that the characters have nothing to do with the original ones because that makes me happier than seeing Lloyd be all mister vigilante emo.
