I think that what you spoiler'd only happens during the Kratos ending, so that's the only time the... CONSEQUENCE occurs. However, I'll bet one of your endings was the Kratos one, judging from how you know that. Let's see, what to talk about... For anyone who's ever beaten the game, the following should make sense. It's not a spoiler though. For those who haven't a quick explanation: after you beat the game, you can use the GRADE (random point things) that you earn from battling or doing Katz stuff to purchase features that you carry over to the next game, such as titles (and the costumes linked to them~), unlocked memory circles, etc. So, I took over all the level-3 kickass techniques and stuffz over.. and am STILL having issues. XD |

| Empty Mage | I think I used the GRADE shop to keep my EX Skills, in addition to some things I've forgotten. Yeah, I got Kratos my first run, then Zelos the second. Oh, and this battle has kickass music(WARNING: PRETTY BIG SPOILERS): | ||

Plus, what if you want to switch between Strike and Tech? =/ Now, Tech USAGE is a great idea. Same with Cooking Skills and, depending on what you want to do, either EX Gems you currently have or the ones you have on hand. Doing it in storage allows you to experiment with effects more as well as Using the EX Gem MAX you get from the final boss |

| Empty Mage | Really, I don't remember what I carried over to the next file, so maybe it wasn't EX Skills. I need to replay ToS. I'm barely remembering anything. |

(I usually spend ungodly amounts of time in random battles just to boost my grade.) Thanks to the Flanoir scene, the game has a high enough replay value to keep me going. (Not to mention Mithos Yggdrassil; my favorite video game character next to Conker.) I have Tales of Phantasia. I got pretty far in it, too, but my file got erased. I was saving, the power was low, and, well, you can guess the rest. I invested about 40 hours of my time into that game, so after my file was erased, I decided not to pick it up again. I haven't played any of the others. I'm just hoping the Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk ends up being released in the US. I couldn't stand to see a Tales of Symphonia sequel slip through my hands. >_< |

What the hell is Ratatosk, anyway? |

Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk, Wiki it. It's for the Wii, supposed to be released sometime in spring of this year, and, according to the trailers, Lloyd is an enemy. Which is too bad. I guess all of the old characters are playable, too, in addition to some newer faces. Too bad about Lloyd being an enemy, though; I'd rather see Colette be an enemy than Lloyd, heh. Unless Lloyd turns out being one of those Sheena cases. Either way, it's supposed to be a Wii-exclusive, meaning none of that PS2-exclusive crap. |

I think the only character you don't see is Kratos since he's in Derris-Kharlan and all , but I may be wrong. But yeah, Lloyd is kind of portrayed as an antagonist, but according to Wiki-this may be false-Colette is playable. Dunno about the others; I think they're in it, but I don't THINK they're playable. But I wouldn't know. ---still dying on Botta--- |

When it starts out, though, it's hard to get around a lot of the artists' lackluster animations (exploding camp/base anyone?) and the somewhat clichéd characters/voice actors. Still a lot of personality shows through in the game, especially in the skits. They became a real treat, once I really got into the game. I tried to get into the fan-translated ToP, but the battle controls were a little harder to wrap my head around (without a manual). Similarily, way too many random encounters in ToP. Hell, any random encounters are too many in any game. |

It gets VERY annoying when you're forced to use Mint, Arche, and Claus for like more than half the game. |

Long story short, I clocked circa 25 hours into ToS. Sheena is awesomely awesome, but how do you get her to do summons in battle? I like her character more than her fighting. Zelos pisses me off and I really don't like him. At all. So, as I stand, I just saved Colette in the sky and am about to enter the Earth Temple. I gotta say, though, that Dragon Boss was complete hell on single-player, since Presea/Zelos/Regal kept charging into the center like idiots and getting raped by the Nest Crack. I won because I pretty much paused every 3 seconds to tell Zelos exactly what techs to do. I dunno what ending I'm gonna do yet, though. I'm thinking Sheena. |

This is the precursor to Mystic Artes in Tales of the Abyss, where you cast them when you go into Overlimit. However, since Overlimits happen automatically in Symphonia, it's just something you need to have quick reflexes about. If you do a summon right away, then there's no way you can be interrupted, at least. ... I just finally found out how to do FOF Changes with the Magic Users in Abyss. >_> Wow. Well, now I can use Jade's awesome skills more often instead of relying on his High Artes to create a full FOF for Luke/Guy to come in and beat the tar out of the enemies. |

| Empty Mage | I've never found summons to be all that useful, damage-wise at least. Mostly because I've forgotten how the hell you get a character into Overlimit in the first place. |

Yeah, I think I'm overleveled, since Guy easily survived Evil Light and I only used one Mystic Arte, Innocent Shine. Not even a FOF Arte. Gotta send Jade through the Colosseum soon. Nearly level 58, I'm sure I can get through more easily than any other magic user (Why, Genis? Why do you suck at melee?) |

So, I just got Celsius, and I'm back in Sylvarant. I'm about to go back into the Palmacosta ranch. |

XDD *still dying on Botta* ....I'm thinking that maybe I ought to alter my plan... maybe I'll play this game on Hard, then do Hard Path on Hard, THEN do Mania, then Hard Path Mania, then Hard Path Mania 1/2 experience... ...that will be quite a challenge. |
