I want to do Luke's Radiant Howl when he has his long hair and do the Ion extension. I want to do Jade's Indignation. I WANT IT ALL. AND I WANT IT NOW. Still gotta wait for my friend to finish it... On a side note, I've been playing Symphonia a nice bit. However, there might be something wrong with the disc or what, because I'm doing the skits with Presea's gift to Genis and right after the skit of him getting the wooden bear, the skit of him talking to Zelos the second time came up for some odd reason (With Zelos telling him to think of what Presea would like.). Right now, they're going in order (Colette, Raine, Zelos first response), but I'm wondering what will happen? Will that skit be replayed? |

Yeah, that means I got Tales of the Abyss back. Already unlocked Guy's Brilliant Overlord. |

However, Brawl has sucked up my free time. Last edited by Chunky Kong12345; 03-15-2008 at 05:08 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

I need to replay TotA. I love how it portrays the evildood as a person with different viewpoints; there's no clearcut good/evil, no convincing. ToS did this, but TotA managed to do it with a helluva lot less cliche-ness. BTW, when does Ratatosk come out? |

As soon as I can figure out how to get the blasted game to give me the English names rather than the literal translation, I'll be playing that (No Raijinkin or whatever, dammit! I want my Demon Fangs, Sonic Thrusts, and Gels!) |

So what if it's called Eternia? They left that in the Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology Sound Test. And they could also go ahead and translate Tales of Rebirth and Tales of Destiny 2 while they're at it. |

Should be here by Thursday, I would think. I'm pretty excited, I listened to the game's music and it is incredible. That's probably going to be the highest point of the game, but oh well. Phantasia had a very diverse character set (Despite being based on the book Tale Phantasia). Destiny PSX sucked. The PS2 version I will admit had a much better combat system. Eternia had actually developed the battle system by being more fast-paced. Now if only Reid was a dedicated axe-warrior. Ugh. Symphonia had a diverse fighting set with the characters. A dual-wielding swordsman, a Kendama user, a Chakram throwing klutz, the list goes on. Rebirth is just plain beautiful. The graphics are like an animated movie. Destiny 2... eh. Can't really think of anything. Except the music is pretty good. Abyss has the best battle system yet. While Vesparia seems to be even more advanced, the game already looks like a complete cliché. And, uh, that's all I can think of, really. __________________ Can I has signature? |

Hey, I just now figured out how you are supposed to solve the Palmacosta Human Ranch. Up until now I just guessed until I got it right. you just choose the paths that have no desians on them. Well, on the plus side this means that this playthrough won't be COMPLETELY memorized... ![]() ...I just realized that I probably should've done the hard path since I'm trying to get Sheena's ending... oh well, I'm sure she'll end up in Flanoir one way or another. :] |

On a bad note, my Legendia disc keeps freezing at this one area after rescuing Shirley from Moses, so now I'm just starting over. I'm going to see if it happens again. If it does, I'm-a try to buff the disc. __________________ Can I has signature? |

With one puzzle in it. One), and the fact that Shirley is an obnoxious terdface. >_< I may give it a try again someday, but watching my sister play it through severely reduced any chance of me playing through it. I just don't like it. *shrug* |

Also, summon Maxwell=Death to Kuchinawa. I'm not there yet but that's what happened in my last game. :] ...I am slowly but surely working Sheena up my affection list above Colette. Bwahahahaaa. |

If cliche bugs you don't play it; if not it's a great game. UPS OF TOS: -Affection/different endings -a hundred gazillion plot twists -a kewl main character (in my opinion.) -a hundred gazillion side-quests -just a really fun and enjoyable game. DOWNS OF TOS -cliche -no 'free run' (see Abyss ups) -Colette is an annoying blond clumsy goody-two-shoes... -...that's it. Now Abyss is similar to ToS but without the affection stuff, and obnoxious main character. UPS OF ABYSS: -Free run!! This lets you run freely around the battlefield and not just in one direction. (hard to explain...) -yet another creative and awesome plot -mostly the same stuff as ToS, minus the affection DOWNS OF ABYSS: -No affection/different endings, thusly less replay value -DIE LUKE DIE YOU EMO WHINY BRAT -That's about it ...Just personal preference, I guess. You should try out them both. :] BTW, there is one thing both games have that totally ROOOCKKK... You can get multiple costumes for everyone. :] |

So this time, I switched all the T/S types. Lloyd is T, Raine is S (healing is eh, Holy Lance is rawk), Genis is S (Spark wave FTW mate), etc. It's cool, seeing all the different techs. I like experimenting (plus if you raise them as one type and then switch you can pick and choose which attacks you want form each.) Also, Colette needs to stop liking me more than Sheena. Seriously. |

| Senior Member | Rise, Tales thread...rise! *Using dark magic* Dawn of the New World/Knight of Ratatosk is out in Japan(it came out on the 26th), so there's tons of videos out on Youtube. I will now go spoil myself, like I do with most games. English version comes out in...November, I think. |
