It's been roughly half a year since i last played my FFT file as I was busy stoming on Magic emprorer Ghalion's ass in Lunar silever Star Story Complete. Hell I still need to finish Wind waker (had it for a year and ahalf and i'm lost in the final dungion) and KH2 (again had it about a year and ahalf, mostly I'm just annoyed at how overly long the final boss fight is.) - You stupid dog! |

And yes, you have to GRIND. And you don't NEED to steal the equipment, it just happens to be your ONLY chance of getting some kick ass stuff. Though, lack of armor does make Elmdore easier to kill. If you don't want Ultima, then just focus all units on Elmdore, have Agrias and Orlandu just their sword attacks, use someone to heal, and you may just be able to pull through - you ONLY need to kill Elmdore...though, once you do that, you have to fight the Lucavi, but if you just keep hammering away with holy sword attacks and long range weapons, equip the good armor to fight against vampirism and other status effects, and have and Oracle/Time mage to ensure you attack quicker than he does, you can do it. I didn't steal or learn Ultima my first time through the game. | |

Geez, if I didn't have a second save file for such an occasion, I'd have to start over! I can't believe this, can't they game test this crap? I am actually Lv. 26 I think but not anything I do hits him, it either misses, is blocked or some crap... Ultima huh? I recall that attack from some other FFs. What class learns it? |

And unfortunately, yeah, one of Tactics drawbacks is that it's much more battle-heavy; you NEED to level up substantially to beat Weigraf and other such enemies. Having a monk's preemptive support command is useful for that battle, but mostly if you use Ramza's yell ability to increase your speed, and then increase his strength, you should be able to land your hits on Weigraf. |

Like Balthier, he was added to the new version of the game (the old obviously could not have either character as their games were not yet created...) ![]() |

Unfortunately, if you want to use him at all, better get used to GRINDING... it takes ages to get him up to speed with everyone else. |

I think you can actually look using the select/analog button what you need to unlock lancers, but that might just be for the PSP version... |

| Marshmallow Knight ☆ Supermod | Ah, FFT. I remember knights with a shield and mantle as being the only real threat; every attack has, like, a twenty percent chance of hitting. =\ In the end, though, calculators totally rocked the battlefield. |

I always used the chemist plan that I found on gamefaqs it served me well and I was able to beat him in the mid 20's to low 30's range. Before I desided to just give up and star again I had about three file. I think I was near middle of chapter four, not quite sure about that though. - You stupid dog! |
