I need help in FFT. So help. - Page 3

I'm around level 15 now, I'm about three poltline battles away from the death of Teta and I've got a good number of jobs unlocked at the moment. Also is it just me or do the robes that time Wizards where look a bit like a clown outfit?

I think the Time Mages look like robots.

You are already 15? I am kinda slow at this game...

You have to find ways to draw the fights out. a few good ways to do that are a eviving a fallen foe, or attacking party members, or simplay just spaming moves like throw stone.

^Exactly - I revive monsters all the time; the key to leveling is to make sure every round your units to something that earns them JP and EXP.

In my new file, I think I was around level 85+ with my main party before even going to fight the final boss...

I had to stop doing stuff like that because I was breaking the game; it's no fun when you completely outclass the competition.

The best thing about leveling is that I actually enjoy the battle system, so it's not like it's a trial for me.

Yep, it is fun. I generally jump a single dude and torture him for Exp.

Bah! I would have kicked Algus blode ass if I just rembered to give my Geomancer the ability to use items. Also The damn black mages i hate the stupid black mages I swear that the computer mages only take half the time to cast a spell that my units do!

I've just met Olan for the first time at the Coal city. That galaxiy stop ability of his made that fight so easy. Anyhow I was wondering if anyone knew how to unluck the Claculater, and Dancer/bard classes, if not i could just go check gamefaqs.

GameFAQs has a very nice chart with the class progression. GameFAQs: Final Fantasy Tactics (PS) Job Tree by symnzXx

Also, the battle mechanics guide really is in-depth. Is it wrong to find that FAQ a good read?

Heh Just got done Stomping Weigraf into a fine paste, and ended chapter three, Ramza's level is 47. Hmm maybe I should stop putting off trying out the calculator class now? yeah I probly should, heh he soon I'll get T.G. Cid and make that vampire wannabe Pay this time!

Start a new file power grind and open/max out as many classes as you can, then when you get to your current spot stomp on Weigraf untill he's a fine poweder.

Well, if it weren't for the place I saved, I definitely would have beat him. I have to rebuy powers with JP and tweak things prebattle. It took, with story, like 10 minutes to try and fail. Quite discouraging...so I payed someone $5 to try over&over till they won.

Best/worst $5 I ever spent...

Why did they lose all of your units and what they were equipped with?

Also I'v hit a bit of a snag myself, eh maybe if I switch Ramza to another job it'll go better. Calculators have some great skills but they seem rather slow with filling there CT meter.

Well, it was a waste of money cause I mean, I payed 5 bucks in order to pass a level in a game. I am glad I am past it without a casualty but still...

Oh, and I also can't beat the Assassin level. Those Assassins jump Rapha before I can get a single move out sometimes...I will not spend more cash to advance in this game.
