| Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: In my pants Gender: Posts: 3,982 Thanks: 2,109 Thanked 594 Times in 343 Posts | So, I got off my ass and played Earthbound/Mother 3 Wow, that is really all I can say, these games were both amazing in every way shape and form, Giygas is the only final boss fight which has EVER actually affected me emotionally, it actually induced sparks of fear, which is really rare for me. The music, the whole feeling of the fight, and worst of all, noticing that looking closely, you can see a feotus, that shook me quite at bit, it made me think, you're being sent back in time to kill it in a weaker phase... as an infant.. >.> Mother 3 had a beautiful storyline and some of the most amazing characters ever, Lucas is probably on my top characters of ever list, and that Porky fight was amazing, music and all, the final boss was really emotionally moving, overall an amazing game. tl;dr, what the **** have I been missing out on all these years. |

| Goku lives on the Sun | Before I played M3, I played SSBB and hated Lucas for being badassly saved by Ness and then abandoned him. But he was actually a refreshing character in M3. |

| Senior Member | I beat Earthbound a while back and I'm on the first leg of my second M3 playthrough. Earthound's final boss scared me ****less and the fight against the masked man had me on the verge of tears. and then consider I spoiled the hell out of both these events. |
