Why has Square not made this yet?

Imagine- a Final Fantasy Tabletop RPG, like Dungeons and Dragons. It seems like it would work perfectly.

There would be classes like Paladin, Knight, Dark Knight, Red Mage, Black Mage, White Mage, and things like that.

Anyone agree?

Because 4th edition D&D is exactly like that. Minus the Chocobos and Summons.

Yes, but people did the same thing to Monopoly, adding themes to make it sell better.

If you want to play original Final Fantasy as D&D, pick yourself up a copy of the game it was based on, D&D second edition.

Also, BESM has both the Chocobos and the Summons, but only if you have the Cute and Fuzzy Cockfighting Seizure Monsters expansion.

That is beside the point, Japan and America's tabletop craze is over. The remaining players are clandestine and very loyal to there own games. Square would lose far more money than they could possibly stand to gain.

They bought D&D in the 90s. You might have seen them in other tabletop games such as Magic: The Gathering, and Pokemon Trading Card Game: The Gathering.

Right...

Actually though, I remember seeing their logo on something I did not recognize. Maybe it was Pokemon: the Gathering...
