If your talking design then the FF series takes the biscuit.

They've got the megabucks and staff behind them to do it and whatever you thought of the actual game FFX, you can't deny the beautiful character design.

Tidus wears a bright yellow jacket and shoes... Yuna has some weird back revealing kimono type clothing. Wakka... I don't even want to get started on him. Auron was the only decently dressed one in that game.

^True, very true. I guess I'd have to say my favorite Character designs are. Actually Yuna's attire isn't all too revealing (unless you're talking about FFX-2 to which I'd have to say that's not a kimono, but I know you're talking about FFX.)

Oh, sorry. Misunderstood you there.

Yeah, FFVI, Chrono Trigger, and IMO SD3(the art), are some of the greatest sprites I've seen.

But Terringama has some nice animations and art in there.

I know it's an out dated game, but it raised the bar as far as handheld games go, so that's what I'm stickin with.
