I recall that the Robots gained stats according to what they were equiped-- which made them INCREDIBLY powerful until the final fight, then they weren't so great because you can't heal them with healing spells. The monsters gain stats according to what meat you feed them. So be careful, you could end up feeding your monster some meat that makes them weaker. Now, for the humans and the mutants (I think they were called mutants) I believe it has something to do with fighting battles. My memory is a little fuzzy on this particular group-- I think I had to do with what type of attacks you used during battle. I can't help you with FFL3. |

| Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2001 Location: The state of Denial Gender: Posts: 6,931 Thanks: 17 Thanked 72 Times in 37 Posts | Final Fantasy Legend 2: It uses the god-awful leveling up system that Final Fantasy 2 uses, and Falco already mentioned that. You gain HP by losing HP, Mana by casting spells, Strength by attacking, defense by getting hit more. That's the God-awful leveling up system for ya. Final Fantasy Legend 3: No point really. They had to add that and the Robots because you can't build your party, though Beast Anubises are quite useful near the end due to their Numb skill. |
