It won't be in theaters. It's a straight-to-DVD film.

As for the release date, I don't think it's known yet.

Kadaj, the third and final Sephiroth look-a-like, and sibling to the other two, is the leader of the group; possessing dual katana blades.

The final tidbit comes for Sephiroth, once beaten by Cloud after going on a rampage, but now he is back.

On top of new information on characters, SquareEnix has released new trailers on their official site. Due to problems with their site interface, readers will have to go to the Advent Children website to view them. At time of news posting, information on Vincent was awaiting translation.

... Okay, here's what I've got out of this.
Barret's back and now has a cybernetic arm. He should have stuck with the gun.

Reno and Rude are in the movie (I am grateful).

When Vincent's shown in the trailer, the narrator says "Geostigma... Jenova... Reunion...", so Vincent may be a more important character.

As for the cloaked figure in the wheelchair from the first trailer, I'm at a loss. Anybody have a guess as to who it might be?

In the site Auron posted, some thoughts were Rufus, Sephiroth, Jenova, Hojo, and... Aeris. Yeah, people actually think Aeris. Scary.

As for me, I think it's either Rufus or Hojo.

I am still confused as to when this is going to be released. Plus, I read somewhere that it might be only a cell-phone download or something crazy like that. I want it to be a DVD because I am poor and do not have a cell-phone.

haha, no no- The Cell phone thing is a game prequal to FFVII, its called Before Crisis, and it has the Turks in it. The movie so far they said it was going to be on the PSP on the UMD format. It probably will be on DVD concidering the price that the PSP will probably be
