I liked Selphie. Not nearly as great as Quistis(sp), but just give her Thundaga and she'll plow through everything she sees.

She was useful. But her limit pissed me off. I wanted an Ultima not 3 Blizzards.

I prefered Squall, Irvine, Zell/Rinoa. They were the most powerful and the most useful. Quistis had her awesome degenerator limit, so that was great, whereas Ms. Tilmett didn't have a single redeeming factor. Annoying, crappy limit, weak. No thanks.

Her limit is great is you're really in a pinch and you have some form of luck. Full Cure's saved my ass a lot of times.

Other than that... she sucks.

The only characters in FF8 I really liked were Laguna and his gang. Everyone else either sucked or was okay.

And you can't "teach" anyone Thundaga. You draw spells, remember?
