| Great game... especially as this was my first introduction to Paper Mario ever!! What did you think of: Each of the playable characters and their moves? Timing Action Commands? Pit of 100 Trials? ~~~~~~~~~~ Favourite enemy/boss? Favourite chapter? Most items that you bought? ~~~~~~~~~~~ Any comments? Your overall score for this game out of 10? ![]() | |

My favorite character was Goombella because aside from her amusing personality, I enjoyed seeing what she had to say about all the people and places in the game. The battle system was an interesting build off of the first PM's. I liked all the new features, but I missed some of my old badges that didn't make the cut. The timing was a lot more creative and varied that the first game's and I though it helped keep thing fresh. The pit of 100 trials? I didn't care for it. That might be because my TV is rather old and sometimes it malfunctions if it's been on for too long. Since you have to do the whole pit in one siting, as I neared the end I started having all sorts of problems. I liked the chapter on the train, (can't remember the number). Believe it or not I almost never bought items. I tried to get by with badges and charater abilities. As a result, most of my items were just the ones that I picked up along the way. Over all, I enjoyed the game. It have a couple flaws in that a few of the chapters have waaaay too much backtracking, and I didn't like how you had to return to Rougeport to level up your party members. (in the last game they leveled up as soon as you found a super block.) I'll give it an 8.5 and recommend it to anyone that can still enjoy a more light-hearted game.(If you can't, quit taking life so seriously, you're missing out!) PS. I was kicking myself for missing one tattle entry in my log book, when I learned that missed enteries can be found in the professer's trash can.=p [ May 03, 2005, 11:41 AM: Message edited by: Cravdraa ] |

| ACK!!! I should reply to my own topic. Each of the playable characters and their moves? I loved them all but most particularly Yoshi (Xavier in my game) and Vivian. Their moves were awesome!!! Goombella's 'Tattle Guide' was cool. Timing Action Commands? Once I got the hang of it, it was magic!! I liked the Stylish moves too... I'm easily amused... Pit of 100 Trials? Fantastic fun, although a few hair-raising moments when I thought it was all over. I took in a number of shroooooooms! YUMMMM!! ~~~~~~~~~~ Favourite enemy/boss? Golden Amazy Dayzee and boss, Shadow Queen. Stunning artwork that one!!! Favourite chapter? Palace of Shadow... the room with all the things that orbited... wow!! Most items that you bought? Shrooms. Yummy!! ~~~~~~~~~~~ Any comments? My f1rst introduction to a Paper Mario game and I was hooked!!! couldn't stop playing until I reached the end... so many fun hours!! Your overall score for this game out of 10? 9.4/10 ![]() | |
