The only required course I have to take still is a fourth year of English, AP English. So technically all the rest of my classes are electives: AP Physics, AP Chemistry, AP Statistics, AP Environmental Science, AP Calculus BC, Latin III, Band.

I always liked taking many electives, and 'required' PE classes... and dropping them. One year, I had 4 study halls.

Mmm, I'm taking Band and Spanish. Normally, we only get 2 electives, but I'm dropping History next year. So instead, I'm taking Keyboarding (bleck) and Speech--the latter which I'll probably change to Intro to Theater. Of course, that also means I need to cough up 40 dollars...

Our school is trying to get rid of study halls. IMO it's impossible.

AP music theory sounds cool...

But, AP European History, Spanish 5/6, Honors Choir, and I think that is all I'm taking next year. I already took P.E. last year, so I never have to take it again!! Yay!!!

I signed up for several, but I won't find out which ones I'm in until next year.

Forms of Discourse
Books to Film (I know a fun and easy as hell class when I see it)
Philosophy
Photojournalism (a fancy name for "yearbook." I figure it'll help prepare me for a career in journalism.)

Really hard, though. I'm nervous. I've been in some sort of advanced choir ever since I was in third grade, and I've been doing orchestra for awhile. I thought I was going to be ready for the class, but now I'm not so sure. It occurs to me that I have zero background in cold, hard music theory. I'm especially stupid when it comes to chord structure. Was Major 7th a commander during the Civil War or World War II? I'm screwed.

Anyway, my school really messed up my electives last year, so I have no idea what will happen this year.

We sure have a lot of spammers these days. Maybe they should kick the registration process up a notch. Require new members to write an essay before they can post or something. That would filter 'em out.

I'm going to College next year, so "electives" aren't really applicable.

But for my humanities requirement I'll be taking an introductory philosophy class and some kinda history class.
