Post the full list, or just what you chose to read. For once we've actually had good books, usually they give us crappy books, or books i couldn't care less about reading. This year, I chose to read The once and future king (King Arthur, always fun to read. I finished it in about four days) The picture of dorian gray (im halfway through and it's great so far) and Frankenstein (haven't read, but it should be good. |

I think. I'm not getting up to check my list, so you'll just have to live with that. |

I haven't gotten the reading list for one school, but for the other, I've got Portrait in Sepia by Isabel Allende and the Lost Books of the Bible. Trouble is, I'm not sure which compilation of the Lost Books I'm supposed to read. So I'll finish the Allende first and worry about that later. |

They included: -The Great Gatsby -The Republic -Ivanhoe And they even wanted us to reread the worst book ever written: -The Giver. Luckily, we started a petition in our school and we had literally every 9th grader, all of the 8th graders, most of the 7th graders, and even some of the teachers sign it. That was only just one petition-They wanted to do it in every school and there was a similar petition in every one. And luckily, they saw the light and decided not to do summer reading. (YAYYY!) |
