Gender: Posts: 3,010 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts | Two reasons why I put this up: 1) I've found that college food>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;high school food. And on that note, Seleck Dining>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>Abel. Yep. (Apple piiiiiiiiiiiiie ice cream) 2) Last night, I've had the pleasure of going to a free screening of "Supersize Me." Along with listening the the director, Morgan Spurdoc (who's actually a super-cool guy). For everyone who hasn't seen it, the movie doesn't just concentrate on McDonald's. It also delves into the realm of cafeteria food in various schools, which are pretty much nutritionally devoid of anything. There aren't that many choices in a lot of high school cafeterias, so the kids choose some crappy stuff, like fries, pop, Debbie Snack cakes. And that makes the baby Jesus cry. Thoughts? Comments? Complaints about your cafeteria? [ October 22, 2004, 07:38 PM: Message edited by: Bad Andi ] |

Don't worry...you'll get sick of College food in time, heh. After a couple of years, you'll can't wait for some real food, heh.-jay |

I was like "Wow, this food is great! I can eat Cheese Steaks whenever I want!!!" That wore off real fast...heh. And get out of dorms as fast as you can... They're like living in hell.-jay |

I only eat on Fridays when they bring in Pizza Hut, while I bring lunch from home on Mondays and Wednesdays. And on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I get to eat at the local Hewlett Packard cafeteria (Run by Sodexho) because my internship's there. |

The food is pricy as hell (2 dollars for hell on a plate) and also when I do eat, I eat chocolate bars and I bounce off the wall due to sugar and the coffee I drink in the morning. I'm on a special diet now, to try and cut down the sugar intake. *Eats her cheerios happily* |
