How are you doing in school so far?

So far, I'm doing pretty well in school. First quarter's been over for about a week or so, and my family was very pleased with my report card.

Per 1: Life connections: A
Per 2: World Literature: A-
Per 3: Integrated Math: A
(Per 4 is not on there for some reason, but it's likely because Per 4 is also Life connections)
Per 5: Design foundations of art: A
Per 6: World geography: B+
Per 7: Intro to chem, phys, earth science: B
Advisory: A

Freshman Seminar - A
Inter. Spanish 1 - A
Am. Lit: Chrono - A
Intro to Theater - B (since then, we've had a big project that brought that up)
Calculus 2 - C (since then, we've had two big tests that brought that up)

I haven't gotten my report card yet. But I know I have a 92 in history, and I feel pretty good about all of my subjects. I'm only taking four classes this year, not counting strings and choir. I have a lot of free time during the day, which is good, because I have to write my Junior Speech this semester. I deliver it a week from Thursday.

I can't believe I'm not in third grade anymore!

CP Geometry- 79 (bah, missed getting all A's and B's in HS for the first time ever by 3/10 of a point)

Not bad, I'm more than happy with 3.7 GPA. Plus, the effort was minimal. ^_^

I should've taken regular Chemistry instead of Chem Com... even though it's supposedly the harder class I'd probably be doing better in it.

I don't know my exact scores for all of these, but here's my schedule for 1st Quarter:

1st Period: Spanish II--A (100% because the extra credit on tests and quizzes evened out my grade)

2nd Period: Intermediate/College Algebra Honors--A (Around a 96%)

3rd Period: English II Honors--B+! Darn, I had an 88%. So close. I've never gotten a B in English before.

4th--Lunch

5/6th Period: Band--A

7/8th Period: Driver Education; I got an A in classroom--technically a B, but he bumped my grade--and a C in Behind-the-Wheel... Scary, because it seemed like the people who did really good and the people who did bad to mediocre all got Cs in the end...Weird...

9th Period: Biology Honors--A-

10th Period: Speech--A I think I had a 98 or 99%.

It's going decent, I guess. I bombed this quiz right after 2nd Quarter started for ICA Honors, partially because of the material, and partially because I honestly can't do math very well in the morning. No joke. I had to go in before school started and take the half hour quiz last friday because I'd be gone on a field trip. If I'd taken it in the afternoon, I'm sure I would have gotten a higher score. But, we just took a test and I think I did really good, so, here's to hoping!

AP US History - 87 (Damn, slipped up a little.)

AP Physics - 76 (Really hard...can't remember the last time I've gotten such a low grade)

Our report cards came out about three weeks ago, but I got a 4.29 GPA. Straight As is a 4.0, and if you get an A+ it goes over and above. The highest is 4.33, which is what I got on my Weekly Grade Report on Friday.

For Math, English and Chemistry, so-so. C average. Chemistry sucks because I have to work with complete jack asses which makes the class VERY dangerous.

As for US History, PE and Art, great. The only fun classes. Yes, history class is actually fun to me.
