Are you ready for them? I've got:

AP French Language - 12:00, Monday 2 May
AP Spanish Language - 8:00, Wednesday 4 May

I HAVE AN EXAM ON BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY! Ugh. Well, at least I have the Cream reunion show later that afternoon to cheer me up .

I feel very ready for the AP French one. I took the mock (without studying) and I got 148/160, and I need a 126 to get a 5, so I've got a comfortable 22 point margin. I haven't done the Spanish mock, but it shouldn't be too hard, since I was born in Spain and lived there for 8 years and I speak Spanish at home and whatnot.

Two language APs in my sophomore year... that'll look good on my transcript.

Nope. Turns out switching from honors to ap as a class doesn't exempt us from the english exam like it was supposed to, and the test costs $88 so it wasn't worth it to take it.

^ It might get you out of college classes if you're good enough at it.

I got out of English 101 and Calculus I.

In my school, some honors classes counted at college courses that I got out of, so heh.

Those tests were too intimidating for me. No thanks.

Dual Enrollment > AP

AP > 39 credits worth of BS college classes

AP OWNZ Y0R S0Ul!!11

So, isn't it like against the rules to take an AP Spanish test if you are a native speaker, or otherwise already fluent?

Not as far as I know. Besides, you could argue that I'm fluent in French, even though I've been studying it for 4 years. I lived in Paris for 2 years prior to living in London.

I already get dual credit for the class anyway.

I'm pretty sure it is. Although, why would you even want to take it? If you're already fluent?

I was gonna make a topic, but saw this so yeah. Anyway, I'm taking the AP English (I took it today actually), AP US History, and AP Physics exams. The US History I'm hoping to get a 3 or 4, and the physics...let's just say my expectations aren't very high for that one.

The AP English exam was surprisingly easy actually...the practice passages I read were much harder than those on the actual test. And 2 of the essays were open-ended, not requiring the use of literary elements and such. I'd be surprised if I didn't get at least a 4.

Next year I'm doing AP French Lit, and the year after that I'm doing AP Spanish Lit, so I'll have 4 AP language exams done by the time I graduate. 6, if you count the two English ones.

I had the French on Monday and the Spanish yesterday. They were quite easy, if time-consuming. I'm pretty sure I got a 5 on both.

I'm so pissed. I would have taken AP Bio in a heartbeat last year if I knew that a 5 would let me skip the class here...

Oh yeah, took the AP US History exam on Friday...I had a feeling similar to when I walked out of the AP European History exam last year...not so good. I'm hoping I get the same result though and get a 3.

AP Physics tomorrow...geez that's gonna be horrible.

I took BC Calc and English Lit last week. English Lit ****ed me up badly, but on BC Calc I must have gotten at least a 3, although a 4 is more likely. In any case, I took the AB last year so I skip a few courses in college already.

This week I've got Physics B and Chemistry. Chem will be easy. Physics is weird because looking on back tests they seem to somehow make even some of the tiniest subjects big enough to be a free response questions... We'll see how it goes.

Well there are two Calc AP Tests, the AB and the BC. AB covers first semester and BC covers first and second. At least, that's how I've been explained it.

Oh.

It appears you're taking the physics as well. Are you confident about that one or are you feeling as hopeless as I do?

Physics will be easy for some portions and bad on others. I have Mechanics down pat (taking the Physics C Mechanics as well next week) but the Electricity/Magnetism, Optics, Light, and other stuff I don't have very well... Ironically the AP Chemistry teacher has been teaching the class only one year and I am much more confident about that test.

AP Physics B was today...I don't think I've ever been owned so badly by a test. On the free reponse I replied to one of the questions with a huge question mark, and on one of the others I had no idea what I was doing and wrote, "This is so wrong. Show mercy." Accompanied with a sad smiley face.

As predicted, AP Chem went a lot better than AP Physics B. On both tests I expect 5's, but AP Chem was that much better of a 5.
