Anyone here studying in a foreign country currently? Or planning to soon? Or has done so recently?

I'm in Spain right now, in the seventh week of an eight week program. It's rocking out. Finals are next week though. Then a month off and it's school again back home. Rock on.

I was in Spain recently, but that was for vacation...

Actually, I had the opportunity, after taking a course in Japanese in college, to go to Japan for six months to teach English to Japanese kids. On a stipend, no less. Of course, I would have gone were it not for the fact that I had another (higher paying) job.

I wish, Tik, but when you have a specific broad in mind, it becomes harder to get a study session.

Seriously, I literally cannot study abroad, because if I do I won't be able to fit in all the classes I need.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Whenever I study a broad, somebody calls me a pervert.

I'd really like to go to Canada or France. I dunno what it is about Canada...maybe it's that song by Five Iron Frenzy. They just make it sound so intriguing.

Next summer I'm staying in France for three weeks as part of a foreign exchange type program. I'm just looking forward to the billion-course lunches that the French are so fond of. And the desserts...of course, this is just my empty stomach talking.

After I graduate, I might look into the JET program.

Other than that, I might look into studying abroad in either Japan or Spain. Ahhh, Espana. =D
