I had 2 exams scheduled for the morning: Stat at 7:30 and Geometry at 9:30 (all exam periods are 2 hours long). So I went to bed nice and early Thursday night. At 12:30 in the AM, my roommate comes in and begins typing away on his loud-as-all-heck keyboard with his AIM sound effects cranked up, and also begins watching a Simpsons DVD. I try to ignore it, because if I talk or anything, I'll just wake myself up even more. Besides, once the episode ends, he heads off to parts unknown again.....until 1:30, when he comes back and repeats the same process. After that episode ended, he shut up and went to sleep, but by then it was too freaking hot in my room for me to nod off again easily. I did eventually get to sleep, and at 6:30 in the morning, my alarm triggered as expected. I turned it off, slammed my head against the pillow, and grabbed my glasses and watch...........which now read 8:20. When I slammed my head down, I must've passed out from exhaustion, because I don't remember lying back down to sleep at all. Ran like all heck to Stat, where I got halfway done in the remaining hour and the professor had the basic decency to let me finish at 11:30 after my other exam. Unfortunately, the Geom exam was a killer, because I had not been able to review in the morning (I did study before that day, but non-panicked studying never helps me for some reason), so I probably did not do what I like to call "well" on it. Then it took me another hour to finish the Stat test, so my ride home for break was left waiting for me for half an hour, so I was rushing to get the heck out of there, so I forgot a few things, both luxuries like my GameCube and necessities like my razor. Then I got to spend 4 hours in a car freaking out about it. It was a fun day. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

I was smoking cigars with some of my buddies and arrived at 12:00 sharp for my algebra final last week. Then I blanked out and screwed up a couple of the first questions on the exam. |
