Classes

Ok, The School year is about over . Now were about to go to highschool next year, Sense i want to be a game writer, what are some extra classes i should take?, we have signed up for it and all and picked out are classes but were allowed to change before we start the year. No matter what im taking art.

If you can take philosophy, I recommend you do. Too many people live without thinking about how one ought to live. Plus, you can gank a lot of video game plots from it.

If you go to any college with a respectable theatre program, take Acting I. You won't have to be very good to get a good grade (colleges with respectable theatre programs understand that not every theatre major is an actor, and usually non-majors are allowed to take the class), and it's great for meeting people & having fun & picking up some social interaction skills. And it's not boring like a public speaking class.

Right now im in are school play, its a comedy called Jolly Roger and the Pirate Queen. Were just praticing now, and my and my friend get to paint the back drop, so we get to spend 45 minits in a room filled with paint wit no teachers or anything.

Get your math skills up to par. Most colleges that offer gaming related majors require the student to have taken heavy math classes in high school. Another English class wouldn't hurt either.

There's a big difference between programing and writeing, but yes im going to do good in math at high school.

I don't know what classes your school offers, but into your later years of HS, be sure to take extra Maths, I resented it, but in the end, it REALLY does help. UAB is showing a little bit more interest because of my AAT credit and soon to be AP Calculus AB credit.
