We start back next Monday. Plus, this year we will have....UNIFORMS! Ividuality, hello uniformity! But we won't go down without a fight, we'll wear the uniforms if we must, but all the while we'll keep stickin' it to the man!

But seriously, I don't think it'll be that bad. I just would prefer to wear my regular clothes. We can't even have abnormal hair colors.

Next Tuesday, oddly. I think it's going to be an okay year; the electives I chose are actually classes I want to take. I was in a position of "hmm, this seems interesting," rather than in a position of "well, it's either this or cooking."

In Canada (eh?), school usually starts after Labour Day (first week of September). There's frosh week at my university, so classes start a week after that.

We start Monday, it's my last year of high school, so I'm ready to get it over with.

I've also learned that there will be an additional homeroom period everyday, instead of periodically like it has been. The new dress code is collared shirts, but I've found a way around it by simply wearing what I want over the collared shirt. Booyeah.

I've got a fair schedule this year, I dont know the order, but I know my classes

English IV
Goverment (semester)/ Economics (semester)
Study Hall
Advanced TV Production
Acting
AP Cal AB

Not trying to pun, but...?

What exactly is 'rock generation' anyways? I assume it's composing rock music?

You guys start mad early. Though we get out late so I guess it's cool. I still have about a month to soak up what summer there is left. I'm actually looking forward to going back, as with every year, then 2 weeks in I realize I'm trapped. Anyway, I have some good classes next year, and I'm looking forward to getting the most intense year of high school out of the way so I can move on.

Yeah, ZG, I'm a double major.

My school makes everyone take a writing-enhanced "Junior Interdisciplinary Seminar" course in their 3rd year. The JINS courses cover a wide variety of topics, and Rock Generation (one of the most popular ones, which is why I'm so glad I got it) is about rock & roll. It's not composition, more just like the study of the style, with multimedia presentations & such.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
