Wow, New rules.

I just found out that for 8th graders, if you have 2 or more f's in in core subjects(English,Math,Science,History) you will get held back.

Do any of you guys have this to?

...To what?

It's been ages since grade school. But, for my program (in university, computer engineering), you are marked "do not advance" if you've accumulated three or more fails in your university career.

If I get any F's at all, I get kicked out of the Honors program.

In my high school, if you have more than 2 (read: 3 or more) F averages for the year, you get kicked out.

I have no clue what the holdback was in my K-8, but no one ever hit it.
In high school, an F meant you had to retake the class, and if you went below a certain GPA, you were on probation. More than 4 Fs throughout the 4 years meant you had to stay at least an extra year (28 credits required, 32 possible in the 4 years).

Here, there's some probation GPA, but I don't know what it is. I also don't know what the F policy is. Only reason I know the high school policy is that we had to read the handbook every year.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Our school's had that two-Fs-will-hold-you-back policy for ages, and it applies to both 7th and 8th grade. Or at lesast, it's close to that.

I don't know the rules of my school. All I know is that I'm probably not going to graduate.

At my school if you fail anything(without REALLY EXCELLENT reason, like, you better be dying) you have to go to summer school and hope they offer the program for it or you will be held back.

Never had any Fs. Completed High School in two years instead of four with all-As. Last month so horrible all memory from that time was erased. People with failing grades had to take school in the summer, but it was independent study. Summer wasn't really summer to us.
