7 1/2 hours of study hall a week...

...is enough to finish all of my assignments, homework, late work, and even run a few errands.

Yet, she still snatches my notebook away if she catches me writing in it.

It's not like I'm carving my name into the table or smoking a cig, if I'm done with my work, let me write goddammit.

Oh, uh, and the times when I was supposed to be working on homework due the next day but instead I was writing short stories and poetry, well, she overreacted.

Study hall/teacher's aid. It's pretty much the same thing for me. And I got it (two different classes, actually) because my schedule was melting apart and they didn't have any other classes or some **** like that. Beh.

That's stupid, writing/short poetry is a lot less disruptive than what I do when I have to sit somewhere for hours on end.

After all, the loud sounds of pokemon, me fighting with computers, and typing like a crazy man would probably drive them nuts.

If you're in a public school, tell her next time it happens you'll charge her with robbery.
If you're in a non-public school, just carry a bunch of extra notebooks & keep puling them out when she takes the old ones. If she doesn't get the idea, go over her head.

Val, that's BS. My study hall teacher actually ENCOURAGES me to write since I usually don't have much to do otherwise. Of course, she also teaches Creative Writing every year (And is quite the sexist woman. My God, her rants about girls!).
