a bunch of pictures of naked girls from my school got out. Many are embarrassed...is this a common thing?

Oh, please. If you really want nightmares I suggest going to Google Video and looking up "Wyoming Incident". You'll hate me. Actually, don't go there. It's fake, but it's still pretty damn spooky.
Tubgirl is pretty tame compared to the stuff you can find at amplovesyou and Portal of Evil.
Think of it this way: if the internet were a house, this would be a video game on a shelf. Tubgirl and other such shock sites are unflushed waste. Amplovesyou is the grime on the inside of the toilet bowl. Portal of Evil is the pipe leading into the sewer. -chan sites are the trip down. Everything worse ( necrophelia websites, Neopets ) is the sticky, slimy, poopy water in the sewers with crocodiles and dead homeless people in it.

I had a cousin who, while he was still in school, got in a ton of trouble for filming his own videos with girls his age. I guess him and a bunch of people were involved. It's not really something I'd look down on, but I've never looked at him quite the same since then.

If you're going to be embarrassed about it, you probably shouldn't do it.

I've seen more disturbing things on Fanfiction.net and CSI than the Wyoming Incident. The Wyoming Incident sounds like something from a sci-fi movie or a 60's "The Twilight Zone" episode...The faces on videos #3 and 6 were creepy, but not NEARLY as creepy as some of the stuff I've seen.
