Because we were forced to do something for it, I told a story about me going to the school. Looking back, that was a boring idea. I should've said I was doing that, but then do that dance John Travolta did in Saturday Night Fever. That'd be sweet. Anyway, we got our diplomas, and took our photos. Then we had cake and soda. Even if graduation is over, there are still two days of school left. However, these days of school are the Olympics, where everyone just has fun. I'll be there only for Thursday, but not for Friday, which is starting to get me a bit...sad. I'll miss my class, as only a few of them are going to the High School I'm going to, and that High School is big in the first place, so the chance of seeing them again are pretty low. I hope I do, though, I really do... Also: Before you totally blast the idea of doing that dance, other kids did funny things like that, like rapping the Fresh Prince theme and editing it, or doing that dance in Napoleon Dynamite, including the speech Pedro gave. |

Anyway, I still have a couple weeks left before I'm out, I get out the 19th. Getting out of Junior year and having summer then goin to Senior year is exciting to me, cause I know Senior year is gonna go by mad fast. |

Also, though, my school was a K-8, so we deserved a ceremony for dealing with that place for 9 years. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

That could be considered a typo, if anything. ^^My School is Pre-K to 8th, so some people in my class were happy when it ended. A girl I like was crying though, and I don't blame her, even if I only went to that school for 2 years. It basically saved me from the school I went to for 6th grade. If anything, the diplomas we got were more like certificates...But yeah, it was a pretty cool ceremony, though it left me feeling depressed about the fact that I was probably not going to see most of my classmates again. |

It was in something that looks like the little folder the restaruants give you when you get the check. I don't even know whatever happened to my high school diploma. It's probably the most meaningless of the awards I got in high school. -CSM |

Trust me, 8th grade graduation is small potatoes. You probably didn't even have to practice. *groans* |

Good luck with HS X-3, congradulating you before I go into my old person rant. Rant: 8th grade "graduation" bugs me, I mean, a ceremony is nice and all, but don't over do it. They're starting to do several things for middle schoolers that is supposed to be just for high schoolers. For one, the graduation and diplomas, but the other thing is the class rings. This 7th grader in my neighborhood has one, and I'm like, um...WTF. The class of 2012 shouldn't be getting their damn rings until Winter 2010 or Spring 2011. | |

My senior year dragged on forever because we all had to do these "Senior Community service" Projects. Some "Advisory" classes did some REALLY elaborate stuff, whereas my class just got together and did Homeless Awareness. (This was because half of our advisory class was graduating at semester, which woudl have left us with literally seven students, whereas the other advisory classes teamed up and had about thirty) |

| Guest Posts: n/a | I had a ceromony too. Though I didn't even dress up like most people. I think I had the CRAZIEST year ever so far. Most people were all dressed up, but not me. I all I did was wear practically anything else I would wear to school. |

But it was more of a "flipping the entire school off and screaming 'Yippie Kay Yay, motherfu*kers' and driving off" kinda thing. What? |
