Short, simple and sweet: 100-90 = A 89-80 = B 79-70 = C 69-60 = D 59-0 = E .5 rounds up... I think it's up to the teacher but I've never known a teacher NOT to round up. Only difference is my Art teacher... she had no scale of points at all, and just calculates your grade GPA-style... like, if you had 5 As and 2 Bs your grade would be 4(5) + 3(2) / 7... and I think its: 4-3.5 = A 3.5-2.5 = B 2.5-1.5 = C 1.5-1 = D 1-0 = E And yes, E is F. They didn't want people to feel bad for having Fs, so they give Es instead. Pretty gay. |

| Guest | ^ I have a simple grading scale as well. Even though they are thinking of changing it for honors and AP classes (which I happen to be taking -_-() ). However, our GPA is different for those who take honors, too. It's a 5 point scale, but it's only possible to get a 5.0 if all of your classes are AP. So, my GPA is like a 4.70, or something like that. It's weird. |
