Monday Intermediate French I: 1:15-2:05 Intro to Sociology: 4:15-5:30 Tuesday Intro to Critical Methods (Basically a Writing/English class): 10:15-11:30 AM Ethics: Kantian Ethics: 4:15-5:30 Wednesday Public Speaking: 10:15-11:30 AM Intermediate French I: 1:15-2:05 Intro to Sociology: 4:15-5:30 Thursday Intro to Critical Methods: 10:15-11:30 AM Ethics: Kantian Ethics: 4:15-5:30 Friday Public Speaking: 10:15-11:30 AM Intermediate French I: 1:15-2:05 Woot, I'm glad my schedule is balanced this semester. I can't BEGIN to tell you how upset I was every Friday last semester when I had all 5 classes on the same day. Plus, my earliest class is at 10:15 which means I can sleep more !And since I'm running out of Gen Eds to take (I'll finish them up next semester), I figured I'd take a fun-ish class like Public Speaking not because I necessarily need to (I already like talking to people and what not, and apparently this class is recommended for people who have a hard time speaking in front of groups of people) but because it's a skill that can always be improved upon and I think is very important. To be honest, I wish something like this were mandatory in grade school. |

Along with a small SAS course and graduate seminar. Along with trying to continue my own research. Along with spending the 20 hours a week I should be spending on my assistantship work. Along with work on the two weeks of lectures that I have to teach online this semester for a Non-point Source Pollution class. Along with reviewing a paper for some scientific journal that I agreed to review (God knows why I agreed). Along with continuing to work on getting my Master's research published. Along with possibly doing some research on this project I have on the side. AND YOU ALL WONDER WHY I NEVER UPDATE NC??? -jay |

One of my suitemates will be working whenever he's not in class, I don't know much about 2 of the others, and recently discovered my roomate won't be going to UAB. The only one I know will be around is this guy named Josh, he seems pretty cool, so hopefully we don't go too crazy. |

My summer schedule was the following: Multivariable Control SystemsThree hours a week for each (except the design project). I also sat in on the Artificial Intelligence lectures because it was right after distributed computing. It was nice; all my classes were afternoon, and no labs to do. I tried to make this term as light as possible, because I feared that the design project would completely kick my ass. |
