It's supposed to be done over the Summer, and by the beginning of school. I completely forgot about it. ****. |

Look at it this way: All the time you would have spent on it during the entire summer was used to do more useless crap, so might as well spend the time you would have doing useless crap to do this. |

I'm a slow reader and I tend to zone out midparagraph. Needless to say I didn't perform as well on the AP as I would have liked to. Oh, well. |

I would have loved it more if I had an actually half-way decent teacher. Still, without learning anything all year (and I'm really not even exaggerating), I managed to scrape a 3 on the test. That's going off my eight grade knowledge, too. From the multiple tests I've taken, Histories generally tend to be the easier AP tests. |

(The only easier AP Class is Statistics) But maybe they'll actually get past the 18th century and have you debate cause and effect. That's what my sister did in AP history. (I didn't take AP History or statistics...I'm too lazy to do the 100 page packets to get considered for the tests. -_-) |

Nonetheless, I still manage to read the book every year a couple days before it's due anyway just because I like to read sometimes. |

Guess which schools were the ones assigning the summer reading? The private schools. I do feel sorry for them though...The sixth graders have to read "The Giver", and the juniors have to read "Poisonwood Bible", fates I wish upon no |
