It happened last friday, the guy got hit by a drunk driver, knocking him in the road, the driver just passed by. Another driver hit him again. Then that guy called 911. He eventually got taken to the hospital (The kid, not the drunk driver), but not to save his life, because that was long lost. So they just preserved his body (I don't remember why, It might just have been to use his insides for those who needed it). I never knew the kid, but he was in the 2007 graduating class. (The same one my brother was in) The guys name was Kevin Ryan. I don't really know why I decided to bring this up, but I just did because I felt I should say it. |

| Senior Member | They probably took his body to the hospital because he was an organ donor then afterwards if the body was too disfigured they would seal the coffin as there was too much damage or they would cremate him. His body will be honored in a funeral with him there somehow. |

| Veteran Member Join Date: Jul 2001 Location: Connecticut Posts: 10,519 Thanks: 7 Thanked 30 Times in 22 Posts | We've lost a few here, a girl in my homeroom in 8th grade, a couple seniors I didn't know, and most recently this summer one of the kids I talked to a lot during Freshman year drowned..It really sucks when it happens, and it's just a wakeup call that anything can happen to anybody. Live now, there's no promise of a second time around. |
