Whether that's true or not I don't know, but it sounds reasonable(at least the Vatican part I can believe). |

Well, I talking mostly of the university level, but all textbooks will always have a few errors in them. |

As for links, that's something I can organise later, when I'm not so tired. My personal experience has led me to believe homeschooling is a great choice, if it's right for the parent/s and child/ren involved. I kept in contact with friends I had made at school, as well as through sports, and to this day I still see a friend I made in grade one. There's nothing stopping a homeschoolr from socialising on a regular basis, and I firmly believe that I had a better start in the real world than someone who was in school until they were eighteen. |

Me and other children never meshed, not even due to social disorders--due to the fact they picked on attacked me, so then I learned from them how to hit them, and it led to either me or them constantly being in trouble. Anyway. Make sure you go to an accredited institution, preferably a private or public one which is using standardized materials. A proper home schooling includes getting a curriculum slightly more comprehensive than in school, to make up for the lack of a teacher. Additionally, you will need one person who knows math to help you with it. If it is run right you should have a teacher/central figure who checks work you do in addition to your parent(s). I can help if you need any information. I, after all, did highschool in 2 years instead of 4 thanks to the independent study program at the place where I did homeschooling for my Elementary and Middle school years. |

Will you be able to function socially without too much extra strain? Is being around classmates an important part of your school experience? Do you have the discipline necessary to do the work in an environment where you might not otherwise work much? Does your mom have the discipline to make you? These are all things you have to consider, and more besides. This is a big decision: make sure that it's the one that's right for both of you. |
