I was rejected. Worst part is, I was completely not expecting it. Thought I would get in for sure. Now I pretty much know that my second choice(Northeastern University) I won't get into because it's harder to get into than my first choice. Worst part is I feel like there's nobody to blame but myself. I'm crazy to believe I could slack off a couple years and then try to do well when I thought it mattered. I've been just sitting here for an hour astonished not even doing anything. Rejection is a bitch. |

Just keep moving, and things will be all right. You can always get a few credits at a community college, and bump your way into something bigger if you want. |

A couple years back, when I was trying to get back into school, the university rejected me out of hand, so I applied at the local tech instead. It ended up being a great experience, honestly--cheaper tuition, smaller class sizes, and the schedule's concentrated (no worthless discussion sections or seperate labs), so it's easy to make it work around a job. Good times. Lots better than the university, where I am now. Last edited by Booyakasha; 01-24-2008 at 08:58 PM. |

Where you got your diploma doesn't matter that much; what really matters is job experience and personal projects. |

And I want to be in a city enviroment..something to change up from what I'm doing right now. Basically I've gotten over it though. I realized that college is college no matter where you go, and even if I really felt like it(who knows what I'll feel like a year from now) I could transfer schools. It really isn't that big of a deal. Thanks everyone though. |
