I'd take a light gun. Like, instead of a sabre blade, a gun pops out when you turn it on. Then you can shoot people with it, and it'll be all 'pyoo pyoo pyoo' and the people will be all 'blargh I am dead' and you'll be all 'mwah hah hah'.

Well since everyone has wonderful ideas, I would just make a mirrorsaber. Basically if someone slashed mah sword it would reflect the light back in their face and kill em.

My second choice would be a prismsaber. It would reflect the light in all sorts of direction killing basically everyone around, including me.

But in all seriousness I take blue.

In retrospect, I don't think I'd use a lightsaber at all. That crap's overrated. I mean, it's all right if you need to cut things, but seriously, how often do you need to do that without you have a knife handy? Instead, I'd have guns. Not some pansy blaster that Jedi can reflect back at me with a lightsaber, either--real guns. My Jedi master would be John Woo--he'd train me in the art of diving sideways in slow-motion while firing twin 45's in two different directions. I'd be the awesomest Jedi to ever clean up the mean streets of Hong Kong.

^Nothing. Doesn't change the fact that cutting a bullet in half mid-flight is only going to result in two half-bullets, still flying towards you at the speed of sound. Not much of a help.

Also, if you're a Jedi in the first place, why would you even need to block the bullet? You'd have jumped out of the way by that point.
