You're reaching, Chunky. Incinerating a bullet? Are you even slightly for real, or do you actually not see a problem with the idea of burning a lead object to ashes?

Oh no, not the Jackie Chan vs. Axes topic again.

^^Fine, melting the bullet. Whilst also killing its momentum.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I don't see a problem with melting a lead bullet.

Molten lead. Hurtling towards you at the speed of sound. You still don't have a problem with this?

You missed the killing the momentum part, apparently.

How does melting it kill the momentum?

It doesn't. The impact kills the momentum.

Yes.
Before you say it: Plasma does create impact. More importantly, we know lightsabers create impact or else they'd pass right through each other.

^Yeah. Who says lightsaber blades are made of plasma? Moreover, who says that cutting through something with next to no resistance (as lightsabers are constantly shown doing) would transfer impact from one object to another?

So now you're saying bullets have next to no resistance?

If a bullet is long enough, it'll go through anything, even Lightsabers

No. I'm saying it doesn't stand to reason that it's going to be sufficiently difficult to cut through lead that chopping a bullet in half is going to zero its momentum. Not when, throughout the movie series, lightsaber blades are depicted cutting through all manner of materials with ease.

Aren't lightsabers contained by a magnetic field anyway? And that's why they push away the slag of doors they cut through, instead of all of it dripping straight down?

Edit: Also.

A lightsaber is basically a plasma loop contained withing a magnetic field.

Look, the bullet isn't wider than the blade. It's getting obliterated.

The problem here is that repeated bullets to the blade would break a Jedi's wrist.

How does a lightsaber cut anything if its blade is thicker than a bullet?
