Star Wars Spotlight #1: AT-AT Walker

AT-AT stands for All-Terrain Armored Transport. These massive walkers were used by the Empire to destroy the shield generators on Hoth. Commanded by General Veers and piloted by specially trained AT-AT Drivers. An AT-AT Walker also appeared on Endor; it transported the surrendering Luke to Darth Vader's Shuttle.

I love these big things, pity they can be brought down by a crappy cable.

That was always my favourite bit in Star Wars games when I get to own these big guys in my wee snowspeeder.

AT-AT's are massive, yes, but they are very annoying to take down in the star wars games though.
btw, just letting everyone know, AT-ATs aren't as tall as everyone wants to believe because the Big Zam mobile armor from Mobile Suit Gundam has this thing out-sized, out-armored, and out-classed as far as a weapons array goes. I mean, it could easily lift it leg up high enough to step on an AT-AT and it has an anti-beam field. but then again I'm mixing two completely different series. I'll post comparative stats later.

Nothing beats storming Echo Base in an AT-AT. *Flashbacks to Star Wars Battlefront.*
